I wanted all natural products this time....no more chemicals for me. Well, I finally found it! This shampoo really cleans my hair and doesn't make it dry. I have a curly perm (that's enough chemicals right there!) which tends to get dry on the ends, so I need all the conditioning I can get, but not so much to make my already oily scalp more oily. This shampoo along with it's conditioner and daily conditioner does the job just right! The smell starts out a little strong out of the bottle, but once you rinse it's not bad at all. VS Most Liked Negative Review smells medicinal...otherwise ok. I use this every other day and it works fine. My big complaint with this is the smell. It is too strong for my tastes. It smells medicinal...feels like I'm massaging Bengay or Vicks into my hair. Oddly enough, the smell doesn't stay strong throughout the day. I expected the scent to last but it really fades as soon as my hair drys. After choking on fumes I'd at least like a little smell reward for my efforts. According to my boyfriend, the mint smell lingers somewhat, so that's something. Comments about Beauty Without Cruelty Shampoo, Rosemary Mint Tea Tree, 16 fl oz: I have tried several 'green' shampoos and conditioners and this one is by far my favorite. It leaves my hair soft, shiny and clean but not stripped like the chemical-heavy products. I do find I can't go too many days between washes, but I don't need to worry about that so much now since this product doesn't strip/dry out my hair like others.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Beauty Without Cruelty Shampoo, Rosemary Mint Tea Tree, 16 fl oz: My hair is thick and straight. I won't use a great natural product without lather. This shampoo works up a lather easily. The smell is a fantastic mint, and my hair feels thoroughly cleaned. No artificial scents, no chemically feel. I've recently reverted to natural products and thankfully there are plenty of effective items available. I initially bought this shampoo due to the name as I am an animal lover. The product itself is as marvelous as the brand's statement.
