I take this as soon as I feel a cold coming on. It stops it from getting any worse and shortens the duration drastically if you take it 3 times a day. My last cold literally lasted 48 hours! I use it for my eight year old son also. He doesn't miss any school due to a cold!

I've used this product for years and it always works. I keep a bottle in the cabinet, and at the onset of a cold (i.e. sore throat) I begin taking it as directed. Sometimes it prevents the cold, but most of the time it lessens the symptoms and shortens the duration of the cold. When I don't have it on hand, I notice the difference. Also, one time I told my friend to take it and he didn't. Our colds started at the same time (from the same source), but his lingered for 2 weeks longer! Get this stuff and use it; it works. (Note: I'm sure it works for kids too, but haven't tried.)

When I first feel the signs of a sore throat or a runny nose, I take Umcka (if it's in the cabinet), and it works quickly. Often it prevents the cold that I was about to get, and sometimes it just makes the symptoms less severe and the cold end quicker. When I don't have it on hand and have to order it, it does not work as well. The cold can only be prevented if you take it at the first onset, and use as directed. This is natural and does not prolong a cold like chemical products such as Robitussin (bad stuff). I love this stuff and tell all my friends about it!

I've been using the cherry flavor Umcka for several years now when I start to feel like I'm getting a cold. If I have it on hand, I take it immediately at first sign of a sore throat, runny nose or cough and it often ends the cold before it starts, but always shortens the duration and lessens the severity of the symptoms. If I do NOT have it on hand and have to purchase it, it works but not as well. You do not want to let the cold go for a few days before taking this. It's best to take it at first sign. It tastes good and has no bad side effects. I wish it were a little less pricey, but it's worth it.

All in my family use regularly as needed. Even my homeopathic-skeptical husband swears by it. Love it for early inflammation in throat or nose, thinning of mucus...it wards off full-blown illness when taken early.
Definitely soothes cough and sore throat once they start.
Since discovering 2 years ago, I haven't had my annual sinus infection. I take it soon as symptoms start....then gone. By Brazilian friend turned me onto it stating where she's from, people have this in their cabinets like we in the US have aspirin.
Tastes great. Safe for kids. Safe to take with other meds.

I am a believer in homeopathic remedies - at least, I believe in trying them at the onset of symptoms, in an attempt to avoid antibiotics, or contrarily, the status quo seven days of sickness. I bought Umcka on a whim last year, after reading about the product on its packaging. It's best used at the very beginning of cold-like symptoms. But I tell ya, it did wonders for me this past year, on three separate "cold" occassions that would normally have developed into a 7-8 day nightmare of snorkeling drainage. I had about three days of feeling "off" - with very few other symptoms. Sore throat vanished overnight, minimal congestion and coughing for about a day, and by the third day, while still fatigued, I was about 85-90% myself again. I highly recommend this.

Every year I get Bronchitis pretty bad, and I thought I would try this. It work's very very well. Symptoms are gone quicker, and are not as severe. I've tried the Cherry, Mint and Original flavors and they don't taste the best but I will suffer through the taste to get the end results.
