This is REAL soap, not a synthetic detergent with the glycerine removed. Everyone in my family has been having problems with all the name brand soaps recently and the size of the bars has been shrinking while the price has not. However, this is a full 5 oz bar that LASTS and LATHERS and no one has broken out or had flaky skin since switching. It it the only soap we use now. It has a pleasant scent and it cleans while leaving the skin soft but not greasy. It even took all the black grease off my hands after working on my car in one handwashing! We gave a bar to our neighbors and they have since switched over also. I have been making soap myself as a hobby for about 30 years now and can tell you that is is what a soap is supposed to be! IF you are looking for a REAL soap that is effective, mild, and a good value for the money look no further!

If you suffer from allergies for other soaps, then this soap may help you. I am also allergic to most perfumes and this doesn't have a smell that bothers me. In the case for the brand Canus, I have tried other goat milk soaps, lotions, etc., and nothing really worked for me until I found this brand.

Excellent for skin and shaving

My husband and I both have sensitive skin. We have tried other brands of goats milk soap but the Canus recipe is formulated just right with regard to mildness, scent, and effectiveness. Truly, no other brand will do.

With steam heat that dries your skin and makes it itch during the winter, I have found this soap to be the best to stop the itch and moisturize. I love it! Have used it for years. Highly recommend it to all!

I DON'T MIND PAYING MORE FOR THIS SOAP BUT IT CHANGED IN COLOR, FRAGRANCE & IN MOISTNESS. IT LOOKS LIKE GLYCERIN SOAP NOW. I PROBABLY WON'T REORDER AGAIN EVEN THOUGH I LOVE THE OLD SOAP.

Even though I dont like bar soap I thought I'd gvie this a try because the body wash was so expensive. I thought it smelled like hotel soap and my skin didn't feel very moisturized after I used it.

I have fibromyalgia, so I am an authority on all type of soaps, bubble baths, etc., because I take a bath every day, sometimes twice a day. I really love this soap and I love ALL of the Canus products that I have tried. I am using this soap in combination with the foaming milk bath and the body butter. I am ordering the Orchid Oil scent next and I will report back later...

I have found the Holy Grail of soap. There is just something special about this product. It's very soothing, lathers well, goes on smoothly, smells pleasant but not overpowering. I would give it 7 stars if I could.
