I decided to try Philosophy shower gel after reading so many good reviews. I think it's great. It feels like a 2 in 1 shower gel because it makes my skin feel moisturized when I exit the shower. I can't use it as a shampoo because of having to use a specific product. I am not a bath taker but based on the suds on my poof it has to be great. I love the soft fragrance. I will be buying more for me and buying as gifts.

Shower gel, occasionally as a shampoo. - This particular scent contained tea-laurel sulfate, this has been removed since I last purchased even though the label on the internet shows tea-laurel, it has been replaced by sodium laureth sulfate. I was disappointed with the moisturizing and noticed no tea-laurel but sodium laureth sulfate instead. I used one of the "Field of Flowers" scents and felt my skin was not as moisturized after my shower; felt the same as if used my husbands inexpensive shower gel. That was when I started to research the labels and the ingredients were different. I decided to stick with Vanilla Birthday Cake because of the way my skin felt, not the case now since no tea-laurel. I will not use any of Philosophy products in the future, I called Philosophy about 2 weeks ago regarding the formula change and they still haven't answered my questions

If you want a Philosophy product with a strong fragrance, then this is not for you, but I am sensitive to many chemicals and fragrances so really appreciate it when a lightly fragranced product is available. Warning: if you are seriously sensitive to fragrances, you may still not be able to tolerate this product, but I have had no problem using it. Philosophy's Caramel Apple is still my favorite - so sad it was only a temporary "flavor". I appreciate the fact that in a pinch, you can use these Philosophy body washes as a shampoo as well. Love it - bought 3 extra bottles just in case its discontinued down the line.

I opened this for the first time today and was incredibly disappointed. The scent was so faint as to be nearly non-existant. I have used the lotion version of this years ago and loved it, but wish I could return this bottle.

I purchased this product in hopes of using it as bubble bath. When I added it to the bath it did not suds up as much as other bubble bath does. Which was disappointing because when I hear bubble bath I think bubbles! Second the smell was not strong at all. Used as bubble bath you couldn't even smell it. I only got a cake smell when I put it right up to my nose. Which is unlike some of their other scents. I can only attest to it as bubble bath as I have not tried it as shampoo or body wash.

Have tried many of the 3 in 1 scents, love them all. Also my standard "gift" to friends, easy to please with such a great product.

This one was a big disappointment. I use many other philosophy bath and skin care products, but ladies the reviews are right. This one has little to no scent and while it cleans and leaves your skin nice, I want to enjoy the scent which just isn't there. So unless you want bath gel with little to no scent, pick another flavor like any of the grace , coconut or empowermint flavors. I guess I'll use this in another dispenser as hand soap instead of bathing in it.

Smells like exactly like yellow cake (the box kind), so for me it's a very sweet, innocent, nostalgic scent. Very light, but I love it!

This was a BIG letdown for me. It had a synthetic smell to me, as some others had stated; not something you want to smell in your shower. The smell to me was not like I had expected and I wont buy this again

Uh-oh, somebody forgot to add the fragrance to this one! Barely there in the bottle, gone before it's even rinsed off. BORING!
