Used the product on my legs so I would not have to wear hose to work. Had co-workers asking if I had nylons on and how did I get tan when I work same days they did! Nice moisturizer and the product did not streak or look too orange - gradually produce more color. Think I am at it's peak though and will need to get in sun before it does start looking more like an orane tan than brown tan.

The best thing I can say about this product is that you are not ORANGE when you use it. I have tried several others and found this one about 3 years ago and will not try anything else!

I chose this because it was the only sunless tanner lotion I could find that doesn't have parabens (read up on parabens, bad stuff).

Anyway, for reference, I used this on my legs only as I have not worn a skirt or pair of shorts outside in over 20 years. I found out long ago that my legs just will not tan or even get a little "color" to them. My arms however, do get tan when I mow the lawn. I got this for my legs so that I can wear a dress to an upcoming wedding (since hose haven't been "in" in years) and not feel self-conscious about my white legs.

It took almost a week to notice any difference because I'm that pale. My legs are so pale that nude colored underwear look tan in comparison, but now after using this lotion for almost 2 weeks, nude matches.

It's not 100% even coverage, but I noticed when I looked at my husband's tan in comparison(who naturally gets bronzed when he's in the sun)that his real tan isn't perfect either. I think people need to realize that real tans aren't perfect either, so if you want it to look natural, this stuff does a pretty good job I think.

Anyway, I shave my legs every day and then apply this lotion after my shower. I make sure to rub it in completely, working as fast as I can. Then, I have a fan on my legs to dry them while I fix my hair & apply my makeup.

As for odor, I do not smell one at all until hours later and then I can smell it on my skin. In fact, at first, it actually smells good, I think.

I have not had any splotches or had any come off on towels or clothing.

Also, I usually hate using lotion. I find it to be a pain and it never really absorbs into my skin, but I find using this to be tolerable. Overall, I say give it a try. Just make sure you exfoliate your skin, apply this daily, rub it in really well and then make sure it's dry before you dress.

originally, my skintone is uneven medium olive

I love this tanner. Previously I used the Jergens Natural Glow Foaming Moisturizer. It was diffficult to use, patchy, and faded quickly. So I went to the store and picked up this product. I used it one day right after the shower and again later that night. I haven't noticed any offensive odor and doesn't irritate my skin. It's so easy to apply since it's a lotion and does not look patchy. It gave me results the very next morning after I used it. I am so happy with it.

The lotion worked fine at first but faded unevenly and left me with splotches. There is an odor that appears after the lotion has dried but it isn't as strong as it is in some other self tanning lotions. I have pale skin and the tan definitely didn't look natural but it wasn't bright orange either. It was somewhere in between. Haven't had any issues with using this on my face.

I used to use the Jergen's tan lotion, but wanted to try this because it doesn't have parabens. It works just fine - creates a nice, soft tan very gradually. You have to apply daily for a few days in a row to notice the difference, but it is there and it looks great (very natural).

I was really happy with this until I worked out. Even though it had been a little over a day since my last application, I saw a lot of tan rub-off onto my gym towel as soon as I got sweaty. Definitely embarrassing considering the towels were the white ones provided by the gym! Other than this minor snag, I've been pretty happy... just be careful not to wear light clothing if you're going to be sweating at all.

This product creates a gradual even tan. Like any self tanning product you need to exfoliate before using for best results and then exfoliate after a couple of weeks of daily use and start over. Otherwise you end up looking splotchy.
