I have never used self tanner because I was scared of looking like an oompa loompa. This stuff gave my body a very natural looking tan. I applied it before bed and when I woke up I was a little scared cause my face did appear a little orange, but after I washed it, it was fine. My body looked so freshly tanned, my face was not so noticeable until I took a photo and seen the big difference. It has only been a day so I can't comment on how long it will last, but honestly if I have to reapply a couple times a week, it is totally worth it to keep this look. I was going to start with the light to medium color, but did not have time to develop a color and I am glad I got this one.
Oh I exfoliated first, shaved my legs and applied it after towel drying. It was easy to apply. I did wash my hands about 6 times while putting it on my whole body. My hands still got a little color but not enough to notice.
I have to say there really was no scent to it, but my husband said it smelled good.
I want to also say that I am a fair skinned girl of Mexican descent. (hope that is not personal info, but thought that may help others) If my pictures posted you can see I was really pale in one.

Well i used it goes on pretty easy seems to dry really fast so you have to be really quick when rubbing it in to avoid streaks. Weird tho when u first apply it looks pretty dark but 20 min. later it gets lighter! maybe the skin absorbs it or something but overall it doesn't seem Dark enough for Deep!!

I normally use ST. Tropez, Clinique Dark or Sun Labs Ultra Dark but wanted something cheap to maintain my tan between self tanning sessions and this got great reviews. Im very pale to begin with and i bought this in light and dark. The light one gives me a yellow tint the darker one turns orange. I personally hate color guides with lighter tanners i just see a benefit while using tanners with a high dha percentage so you dont miss a spot. This color guide pools in the pores and looks streaky so i couldnt wear it out. After washing the color guide off i was left with a streaky and blotchy orange color that started to fade very lizardy on day two. Ive tried it a couple of times and finally threw 3 bottles away. Ive ordered one bottle of St. Tropez in Dark and Jergens Natural glow tanner without color guide that one is less streaky and the smell is bearable.

This is the best self tanner i have used yet. If you are careful around your knees and feet/ankles, you will not get streaks. It goes on very easily and dries pretty quickly. You get a fair amount of color with each application and it lasts several days.

I bought this product because I have very fair skin and wanted some color to start the spring with. This product was brown when I applied this but when I woke up the next morning I was orange and when I got home from work I spent like a half an hour trying to take it off. I am never going to buy a self tanner again. I am just going to embrace my fair skin and not change it.

I use this self-tanning lotion on my legs about 3 times a week. It produces a very nice, natural color and actually smells pretty good. I've tried using it on my face, but the color doesn't seem to take as well there. The lotion spreads well, so it is easy to apply.

I've used Banana Boat Self Tanning for a few years now and I keep buying it year after year. It makes my legs look like I've been at the tanning salon. Normally, they are white as a sheet and this product makes me feel so good about my legs showing when I wear shorts. Thank you Banana Boat.
Apply to clean, dry skin. Use sparingly around ankles, knees, elbows and hairline. Wash hands with soap and water immediately after use. Allow to dry completely before dressing. Color will develop in 2-3 hours and will last several days. Reapply to deepen or maintain color. For best results, wait at least 3 hours between each application. To maintain your desired shad of tan, reapply 1-2 times a week.
