This is my #1 sunless tanning product. I have medium olive skin; the color this provides is a warm, caramel tone. It works just as well on my face as my body with no ill affects and blends tan lines flawlessly. I've tried plenty of products in all price ranges and find this to be the best overall. Pleasant scent, no nasty smell hours later.

I've been using this product for approx. 3 years. I love how natural it looks and how easy it is to have a tan without the harmful effects of being in the sun. Everybody always comments on how nice my tan looks, and asks where I have been. I have tried other products only to have streaks and an unnatural color. You cannot go wrong using this product.

I love the color, but put it on with rubber gloves to avoid staining. In order to reach those unreachable parts of your back, I use a back-rubbing sponge "thingy". For face I use L'Oreal Sunless for a less drying effect on the face and neck. When done, I simply take off gloves and wipe the backs of hands and wrist over face and other parts of body to get the color on hands. 1/2 Sugar and 1/2 coffee ground mixture is the best softening and pre-buffing method!

I had 2 melanomas removed from my abdomen 5 years ago. Needless to say, I have tried many sunless tanners. This is the best I have ever used. People are always asking me where I have been on vacation and when I tell them it's fake, they are amazed! I think it takes practice in using sunless tanners. You have to exfoliate and apply to freshly-bathed skin. Thank goodness we have come so far from the orange tanners of the 70's and 80's.

I have olive skin and grew up never using sunscreen and always tanned, rarely burning but 10 years ago I had melanoma removed my ear. Banana Boat dark lotion achieved the same color I remember getting from the sun before skin cancer. I have tried many products and this is by far the best and also has a pleasant smell unlike all other products I've used. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a real looking tan in the summer or winter or any time of the year!

This product worked well for me last summer. I have tried other tanners since then, but none have worked as well as this one. No streaks and no breakouts. The color lasted a long time, too. The smell is a bit overpowering, which is why I gave it four stars.

I've been using this self tanner for 2 years. I am naturally olive skinned, and achieve a very dark tan from the sun. This tanner gives me the exact same color. To achieve this does take some time, but it's worth it. You must exfoliate before application! I then mix a "potion" of sorts with lotion and the self tanner - making it a deep mocha color. I mix it directly into a lotion bottle with a pumper. Each day after showering, I appply just as I would lotion. Wash hands with soap immediately after application, apply a small amount to the back of hand (using the back of hands to spread) and continue to get ready. I don't dress (just a towel) until I have finished with hair and makeup to allow for drying. I do not apply if I will be wearing white that day as it can rub off. I follow this process 4 times a week, and always look like I've just returned from a fabulous tropical vacation. I meet/see hundreds of people each day, and not one day goes by that I don't tell 10 people about this.
