Tried a lot of tanning lotions including Jan Tana but nothing I've ever used comes close to the Banana Boat Lotion. One application and I had a nice rich looking tan. I was shocked at how quickly it works.

I have tried them all and this product performs well and it's reasonably priced. Only disadvantage is the bronzer rubs off on clothing. I like the instant tanning effect of the bronzing agent, but it tends transfer to my clothing. However, most tanners do that.

I like this tanner because it works quickly.. I previously used Neutrogena's build-a-tan, which gave a natural looking tan, but takes about double the amount of time to build as this one does. I noticed a nice dark natural looking tan in about 4 days. This is applying only once a day.. and a very thin layer. There is a slight odor, but it disapates, no residual scent to clash with my perfume.

This product produces the most natural tan of all I have tried and, believe me, I've tried them all including the much touted Mystic Tan which doesn't hold a candle to Banana Boat. And the best part is the price. Nobody will suspect you are using a self-tanner.

I was looking for an alternative to A) the tanning bed B) getting spray tanned at the versa spa for 30 bucks a pop! I read about this product on the beauty forums on craigslist and bought it at a local store. I have put two coats on and OMG its very smooth, blended perfectly and a beautiful golden brown that looks better than a real tan. Im online looking for somewhere I can buy more of them in bulk. I can see myself using this stuff ALOT. you must try it! give it a few applications before you judge the result. Exfoliate well and moisturize well.. you shouldnt have any issues.

I have tried ALL brands of sunless tanners. I found this one up north and wasn't able to find it in any stores near me in the south so I ordered it online. Out of every brand i've ever tried, this is my favorite! I bought 4 bottles today online. I love that it is more like a lotion, so it dries quickly and its not sticky. I don't smell anything unless I sweat, then it does have a faint odor. If I put it on before work in the morning, I've already got a fabulous tan by the evening. My husband, who rarely notices stuff like this, even commented that my tan looks really nice and natural. It lasts for awhile, too. I use it about once a week and I stay dark all week.

I have been using this product for years... it's my favorite. I like that it has color when you first put it on. That makes it virtually mistake-proof and you don't have to wait for hours to see a difference. I use it on my face and body. Completely natural color.
