Best Moisturizing Tanner, but . . .

This is the second self-tanner that I have used. I really liked the moisturizing quality of the lotion, others are drying. However, the next day, I had some raised bumps on my skin. They did not itch or turn to hives, but my skin was somehow 'offended'. My skin is fairly sensitive, but that is not an uncommon issue, so I wanted to mention it for others with sensitive skin. Bumps aside, I really liked the color, the moisturizing quality and smell.

I was diagnosed with Melanoma about 6 years ago and since have been trying every tanning option from getting sprayed to taking tanning pills. I have tried L'oreal, Coppertone, Ban de Sole and others. None of them come close to the natural and eveness of the banana-boat product. I have been using it every other day probably for the last 3 years or so. I get a kick when people tell me I have an "olive" complexion. Without it, I am ghostly white. With it I look like I at least hang in the sun a bit. Its the best tanner on the market.

i usually go for the more expensive self-tanner, however, after reading other reviews i thought that i'd try banana boat. and i'm sold i am unable to be in the sun [ lupus ] and this product provides a nice natural tan. thank you

We used the sunless tanning cream before a trip to Florida in July. An application once a day for 3 days and we were not "tourist white"! It is great to use on your face and places where you use sun screen to even out your tan. My husband and I recommend this product.

I am very fair skinned and was concerned that the color would look unnatural on me - boy, was I wrong! No one believed that it was self-tanner. Application is easy. Suggest wearing gloves, since it has a light color guide, so you can actually see where you are putting it. If you are not going out for a while, don't worry about some streaking - it's just the color guide. Simply rinse the guide off after 2-3 hours and you have a perfect tan. Unless you want to be super dark, only one application is necessary.

I have tried just about every brand and every kind of self tanner and this is by far the one that stands out. It goes on easy, gives me a nice gold color - no orange, no streaks and the smell is pleasant, not harsh like other self tanners. It also comes off your hands easy with soap and water. oh and i love the price - highly recommend!

I bought this based on other user's ratings and wasn't disappointed. I like the color, and I don't have problems with streaking. After I wash my hands, I apply a bit to the backs of my hands with a makeup sponge -- then the tan is perfect!
