I've never tried a self-tanner before, I usually just tan in beds. Seeing how bad that is for your skin I wanted to see how a self-tanner would work for me. I have to say for my [$] I'm impressed!! It wasen't oily or greasy feeling and mouisturized my skin really well,Creates a nice tan almost immediatly after applying, It didn't rub off on my clothes and gave me a nice natural color(no ORANGE!) The only complaint I have about it is that I have a few streaks, that's probablly because I didn't apply it as evenly as I should have. Will use agian and purchase agian in prepration for summer :)

I have been a long-time user of L'Oreal Sublime bronze self tanner which switched formulas in 2008. While I like that stuff, I was in search of something which didnt have the sparkle so I could potentially put it on in the am and wear it all day. Banana Boat fits the bill nicely. Like the L'Oreal, it is easy to apply, and dries within 10 minutes. I am a fair complected person (not the fairest, but medium fair, dirty blonde hair with freckles) and the color is very natural. The only drawbacks I see to this product are that it has the same odor from the active ingredients that all self tanners have--no way to avoid that currently--and that it only lasted for about 2 days and then faded. I only applied one coat, so perhaps if you used it several days in a row it would last longer. Overall I was very pleased with the price, ease of application and results of the Banana Boat self-tanner. I also liked that it was oil free--unlike the L'Oreal Sublime bronze--so I could dilute it with face cream and use it on my face as well.

I've been using banan boat self tanning cream for years. It is by far the very best self tanner. You do have to take your time to apply correctly. If done so, you will have a beautiful tan that everyone thinks is natural. Buying on Drugstore.com allows me to get it at a good price and also always available. I always buy 2 or 3 at a time.

I can't tell you how much I love this product and how grateful I am to banana boat for making it! I use to always go to tanning salons, which are horrible and one day I started to notice a change in my skin to dry and icky, so I vowed to stop going tanning. However I always wanted that dark tan and this product delivers! People compliment me more on my tan now than when I went to the tanning salon! Love this product!

This product left the most uneven streaky mess on my face. I have used other sunless tanning products in the past and I am aware of how to use them correctly. Unfortunately this product did NOT live up to its claims. I used it 3 times and then it went straight into the garbage.
