I like this product because I am fair skinned and this self tanner doesn't make me tan suddenly, it just adds a little color to my face. It's probably comparable to using bronzer, but without having to use makeup to add the color. It's not a perfect product, but for what it is, I think it's a pretty good option for those of us who start to look sickly during the winter and need a little color.

Horrible! I am very fair so I was happy to see a product, especially for the face, that I could gradually add color, but I used this stuff for a week and didn't see any difference! Plus, it's really greasy, even on dry skin, it's like it doesn't absorb well. Try the L'Oreal face stuff, it works better.

This stuff smells BAD. Even after it's been on a few hours, I could still smell its horrible stink. Plus, it makes my face break out. I've used it for days on end and have not seen any color change -- I guess that's why it says 'hint of color' on the bottle. Don't waste your money on this!

This stuff does not work very well. It made my face very greasy. I put it on in the morning and then put on my makeup -- very big mistake. It took forever for the color to develop and then when it did it was orangey and splotchy. Very "fake" looking. I will not buy this product ever again. I am taking back to the store for a refund. A good sunless tanner for face is Aveda Sunsource. I only use it on my face...I put it on in the morning and it goes on smooth and looks very natural!!

I'm new to self-tanners, but I thought I would try this because I'm pale and I have a slight case of acne. I've done three applications, and I'm still rather pale but I haven't noticed any streaks. Maybe it just takes more to build things up. It smells like sunblock though. ):

I really like this face tanner. I, too, saw results after just the first application. I like that I can use it in place of my everyday moisturizer, and it has SPF 15 in it too. I will buy this again!

Being that I never used a tanner before, I can't really compare it to anything else. However, I love the way this product works. I got color from just the first application, even though I was not expecting any, as it is a "gradual" tanner.

I think this product does exactly what it claims to do. After using it for several days, I have a light glow on my face. I will say that I would not recommend it for medium/dark skin tones, I have fair skin. I would compare this to the Jergens Natural Glow product, except for the face. It's not "insta-tan", so if you're looking for that kind of a result, this is not the product to buy. I use it once a day, each night before bed. I have oily skin, and any moisturizer makes that worse during the day. But, after only three days, I do see a difference! As for the price versus the size of the bottle, since you only use it as a moisturizer on your face, you only use a little bit. This will last me the whole summer, if not even longer.

I wish I would have read the reviews before spending the money on this product. First of all, the price in itself is ridiculous for a 2.5 OZ bottle! I have used other Neutrogena self tanners for the body and they work great, so I went ahead and bought this product. I have been using it for four days and I have no color whatsoever on my face from it. It burns my skin when I put it on. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

The smell doesn't bother me at all (I guess I've smelled much worse). But it doesn't deliver any noticeable color. I've been using nightly before bed, only to be disappointed in the morning. It IS moisturizing, so it is certainly worth its price in moisture and SPF - unfortunately, it just doesn't build any tan at all.
