This is a pretty good ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 4/27/07This is a pretty good product.
It tans rarely quickly and it has a less offensive odor like many others.
I'm just extra careful not to double apply.
This didn't give me much ... by Sarah in Lexington, VA on 3/16/07This didn't give me much color at all, and I applied it at least twice, when I usually only need 1 good coat of dark sunless tanning lotion. The smell isn't too offensive, but it has no color, so you can't see where it's going. I'm not using this again.
Well there are definitely ... by Jennifer in Cumming, GA on 3/4/07Well there are definitely pros and cons with this product. I applied the mist in my shower stall so not to get it all over the bathroom. The fumes and smell did require me to wear a mask. I am very fair, and used the deep tone, and even then I didn't see a lot of color until about the third application. I did not rub the product in and just sprayed. My toes turned a lot darker and spotty along with the back of my legs. It is hard to keep track of where the mist is going, since it is invisible. I only got about 3 applications with one can. I am trying other products before trying this one again.
This sunless tanner is ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 11/8/06This sunless tanner is very good. I rubbed it in with my hands just to be sure that it was even. The end result is very nice. It is not orange, it is a very nice glow.
As far as over the ... by Barb in Battle Creek, MI on 10/23/06As far as over the counter tanners go....I love this one. It dries so fast and the color is believable. Looks good even in the winter time when everyone is so pale; gives a nice glow. I find it works especially nice on the neck and chest area.
Absolutely the best ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 9/20/06Absolutely the best self-tanner on the market - and I have tried them all. The spray is very fine and light, dries within 5 minutes, and the smell is SIGNIFICANTLY better than Mystic Tan and other over the counter spray products. I recommend spraying over the entire body twice (to the point that your skin is slightly wet with spray), and then rubbing it in with your hands (wash hands with soap and water afterwards). The tan will look perfect!
This is the best ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 7/6/06This is the best self-tanning product that I've ever used. I spray a small section, and then lightly go over the area with my hand in a circular motion (and wash my hands with hot water and soap afterwards). The fumes are strong, but certainly not as intolerable as the fumes from a Mystic Tan booth. The quality of this spray is just as good as the Mystic Tan.
You definitely need to ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 7/2/06You definitely need to take your time with this one; just because it sprays on doesn't mean you're coordinated enough to keep it at an equal distance at all times. Probably rubbing it in (with gloves on) would help. It is rather inconvenient not to know what you got and what you didn't. Mine turned out pretty spotty in some places--be sure not to over-apply. When I was walking next to one of my naturally tanned friends, I could tell mine was more orange.
I tried to use this on ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 6/7/06I tried to use this on one leg so I could gather an objective opinion on whether or not the color is what Neutrogena promises. I was optimistic when I sprayed and it came on in a light, pleasant smelling mist. I kept the aerosol container moving evenly while it sprayed a fine micronized mist over my right leg. It dried quickly. However, I woke up with a streaky leg! At the time I sprayed myself it "felt" like it was evenly covered. I am a very precise person and have good hand eye coordination. (I perform medical procedures as my livelihood.) It should not be that hard. The quest for tan legs without risk of melanoma goes on.
I am a veteran sunless ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 4/23/06I am a veteran sunless tanner. I try every new product that comes out each year, and I have to say this was my favorite one so far. Tips: I put an old sheet down on the floor (with a towel for under my feet) in front of my full-length mirror, so I can keep track of what I'm doing. That protects other surfaces, and helps keep the bottoms of my feet from getting 'puddles of product' on them. The other thing, for the people who complained that it didn't spray in a micro mist - I got one of those cans last year and simply phoned Neutrogena and reported it. They promptly sent me a replacement. Also, the smell on this one isn't nearly as offensive as some of the other self tanners on the market - and I love the fact that it dries so quickly!
