YUK! I'm orange, streaky, and smell like burnt skin. What a mess! I have to wear long sleeve blouses and slacks to work in 90 degree weather in order to hide my arms and legs. Thank goodness I didn't use it on my face. This product is nothing like the commercial claims. I'd never buy another Neutrogena product.

Negative 5 stars. Worst product ever, hands down. Not just the worst beauty product, the worst product, period. First, it doesn't come out as any kind of a mist, micro or otherwise. I had to use 2 fingers just to press the nozzle, and I don't have arthritis or anything. Came out as a watery foam, which I spread around evenly (I thought). Results were hideous. Looked like I smeared dirt on myself -- blotchy, freckly, and streaky. Showered twice, scraping my skin with my fingernails, to try to get rid of as much of it as possible. I'm so glad I tried this several days before going on vacation, so it will probably be gone soon. I am done with sunless tanning after this experience. If you want to do something good for yourself, stay away from this awful product.

This stuff is great. I followed the directions and got a nice, even, streak-free color. I didn't need to exfoliate wildly beforehand either. It dries quickly, so I can apply just before bed; I wake up with natural looking color. The color isn't as deep dark savage tan as I'd like, but since it's so easy to use I can just apply again the next night. I'm hooked.

I loved using this product. No streaks, no missed spots. And since it sprays such a fine mist, the tanning was even all over. I will say that it didn't get my skin as dark as I wanted even after repeat applications and it also has a pretty bad smell, but overall I was pleased with the even coverage. I would use this again just for some color. Spray tanning is excellent and I will never go back to lotions again. Not having to worry about washing my hands and missing spots is the best thing.

I would have to agree with the poor comments!!! This product is not as advertised...went on poorly, smells awful, it is also sticky, and yes, it does turn orange. I would not recommend this self tanner to anyone unless I didn't like them. I followed all directions to a "t" and it's just like the others. I wonder when we can finally use a self tanner product and have it do what it claims it will? Don't buy this! You will smell funny, have orange streaks and marks, and be sticky for hours -- I would rather sit out in the sun and get a sunburn and look terrible from that then use this product ever again! Beware.

I too was misled by the advertising for this product. I usually like most Neutrogena self-tanners so I was thrilled when I heard they were doing an airbrush version. If you follow the directions you will end up with a blotchy, streaky mess. You have to rub it in to make it even. It felt like it was suffocating my skin, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

AWFUL! Okay, I thought it was just me, but after reading the other reviews, I had to chime in. First of all, I have used every days for 4 days...I BARELY see color which is odd considering I bought Deep. And, the color that is there is very sallow/orangey. The smell is awful...won't leave the bathroom for hours and it DOES streak. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone! It's also sticky. It doesn't feel "dry" like it should. BUYER BEWARE!

I usually use a tanner just for my face, but since it's summer I wanted to try this to get all of the hard to reach areas. I love it! I took advice I had read in other reviews, and sprayed in a circular motion instead of straight lines, and then I rubbed in cocoa butter all over to help blend it, and I have the most beautiful-looking tan! No one can believe it's not from the sun! The first time I did it, I did notice some small areas I had missed, but they were hardly noticeable, and the next day I just went over those areas again and that fixed it. The only thing to watch out for is it can get the bathroom floor pretty wet. The first time I used this I didn't pay much attention to that, and ended up with dark brown on the bottom of my feet! Now I make sure to dry the floor well, and clean the bottom of my feet with baby wipes.

I love this product; if you have medium skin tone it delivers a nice glow. I like that fact that it doesn't have the bronzer that shows you where it goes, because that just turns your bathroom brown and your clothes. It says no rub - but nothing is no rub unless you want to look streaky. I use vinyl gloves and start with my feet and legs: first spray and then immediately rub it in; this will definitely help with even coverage. The reason I give it 4 stars is because it's really strong smelling and because you spray so much I usually wear a mask also. It gets on the floor and makes it sticky, but overall it's quick, easy and delivers great color.

This is the worst self tanner ever!! It goes on easy (too bad you can't see where it's being applied), but the color is horrible. I have never used a self tanner that made my skin such a horrible color. This product goes on STREAKY and ORANGE; don't waste your money!!!
