Works great! by Sue in Rockford, IL on 8/2/09Pros: Creates Even Tan, Doesn't Clog Pores, Dries Quickly, Easy To Apply, Natural Tan, Not Greasy, Works Quickly Describe Yourself: Budget Buyer Best Uses: Body, Daily Use Bottom Line: recommended I use this in the am after my shower. I shave then dry off. I spray evenly in a circular motion all around my body. I am very careful around my ankles/heels. Spray lightly there. You need to use more of a mist rather than a spray. You can't have the can real close to your skin or you will get wet spots. Once you get the hang of this it is real easy. I use the blow dryer and dry my skin quickly. I learned this from getting air brush tans. Dries quickly, no odor, nice color. I am very pale and I use the deep color which gives me a nice natural tan color.
Fantastic! by Jen in Nashville, TN on 7/9/09Pros: Creates Even Tan, Dries Quickly, Easy To Apply, Natural Tan, Works Quickly Cons: Bad Odor Describe Yourself: Brand Buyer Best Uses: Body, Daily Use, Face Bottom Line: recommended I can't believe that some people don't love this product. I have tried soooo many different self tanners. My favorite results come from St. Tropez tinted self-tanning lotion, but it requires you to sit around for 6-8 hours covered in mud-like lotion in order for it to work. This mist is so much easier. I've been putting it on a couple times a day and look like I've spent a couple days at the beach. Definitely not a deep, dark tan, but more of a sun-kissed glow. A lot better than my normal white skin. I don't even put that much care into the process. After I shower in the morning, I dry off, then step back into the shower and apply this all over -- even on my face. If I feel like I didn't get enough, I just go back over the area. I know some people rub it in, but I haven't done that. After a few minutes (5 or less), I get dressed. Sure, the smell of all that mist is like spraying hairspray continually for a minute or so, but it goes away quickly. I used to go to the tanning bed year-round, a few times week. Now that I'm older and wiser, I'd never use the tanning bed, but I'm looking forward to being able to "glow" all year round again...this time, safely! Some tips: don't directly spray your feet, ankles, or hands. Instead, hold the can further away than you do for the rest of your body -- about 24" or so. Then just mist "around" that area, in a very fast sweep. If you try to spray these areas just like the rest of your body, you'll get horrible results. Same thing with the face.
avoid buying by marie in pennsylvania on 6/28/09Pros: Color does look natural Cons: Blotchy and streaky, Feels Greasy or Heavy, Uneven Fade, Uneven Tan Describe Yourself: Budget Buyer Bottom Line: not recommended I would not reccomend buying this product unless you are an expert at applying self-tanners. Though it does give your skin nice color, it leaves your skin streaky and blotchy. It also takes a while for it to completly settle and absorb into your skin. Above all, I would not recomend this product for anyone who has never used a self tanning product before.
Doesn't work. by hbmom in CA on 6/12/09Cons: Bad Odor Bottom Line: not recommended Sprayed this all over last night and this morning....nothing. No color at all. The bottle was purchased just yesterday and is not expired. It just didn't work on smooth, white skin :(
Some helpful hints by chertams in Pittsburgh, PA on 5/15/09Pros: Creates Even Tan, Doesn't Clog Pores, Dries Quickly, Easy To Apply, Natural Tan, Not Greasy, Works Quickly Describe Yourself: Budget Buyer Best Uses: Body Bottom Line: recommended I have been using sunless tanners for over 20 years beginning with Estee Lauder. I have used foams, lotions and sprays. I recently had a personal spray tan where a person actually sprayed a sugar product on me. I paid a total of $60 to have the proceedure done on 2 consecutive days, and was disappointed. I get better results using the micromist from Neutrogena. Here are some helpful hints. Use the product at night before you go to bed. Do not shower or shave before hand. Shaving will create the little dots effect. Always rub the product in and use a hairdyrer to speed drying time. After one hour, reapply then go to bed. It is best not to have plans the next day in case you need to do some touch-ups. Be very careful around your feet, ankles and nails. Press your foot onto a stool and try to simulate where the sun actually hits your foot taking care around excessively dry areas like your heels and between your toes. I wouldn't plan on wearing flip flops or sandals until you perfect this area. After you have rubbed the product in wash your hands with soapy water being careful to only get your hands wet, not your arm. Then dry hands thoroughtly and spray the tops of your hands lightly, rubbing the backs of them together gently. Try not to breathe in the product and walk out of the room frequently. For the price I do recommend this product. With some practice and patience you should achieve great results.

natural tan by big tom in miami,fl on 2/18/09Pros: Creates Even Tan, Doesn't Clog Pores, Dries Quickly, Easy To Apply, Natural Tan Cons: Doesn't last long Describe Yourself: Brand Buyer Best Uses: Body Bottom Line: recommended I use it 3x a week, full body, it gives a natural tan color, but it needs to be applied often.
gross orange color by anonymous in California on 11/1/08Pros: Doesn't Clog Pores Cons: Bad Odor, Feels Greasy or Heavy, Uneven Fade, Unnatural Color Describe Yourself: Budget Buyer Bottom Line: not recommended I've tried many "natural color" self tanners. This one definitely isn't the best. It has the worst smell of them all and ends up turning your skin an orange color instead of the natural brownish tan. It is easy to apply but I would recommend using the coppertone spray, it's cheaper too.
Rub it in, Rub it in! by Mel in SC on 7/14/08Describe Yourself: Value Oriented Bottom Line: recommended I have been using this product for about 2 years. I really like the results! I hate the smell, but haven't found another product that delivers the same color results without an odor. Even though the directions say to simply spray it on, I spray and then rub it in so as not to get a streaky look and it works great.
