I use this product alone as an everyday eyelash enhancer, or as a light base coat for my more expensive (and excellent smudge-proof) mascara for more 'dressy' occassions. I like it because of its light coverage, however, the reviews that say it dries out (and flakes) quickly is also true for me. In fact, three or four times now I have have purchased multiple packages only to find that they are *already dry and unusable* in the brand new package. I have tried to make use of them by adding a drop of water to the tube, however, that is not ideal. Obtaining a usable product is inconsistent and very annoying, especially for such a small tube with an [$] price tag.

I have really light blond eyelashes. I've used this product several times, and it is almost like the brush is too rough because the product does not stick to my lashes unless I apply several coats. It's a great idea for just a little coverage. I really wish the application was easier. I suppose it could be the climate I am in currently...

This is a tint so I wasn't expecting it to lengthen or thicken. I have brown lashes and usually wear brownish/black mascara. I figured this, being black, would darken my lashes a bit without looking heavy. It was like wearing nothing, I checked several times to make sure I actually had something on the brush. After a third coat, it started to leave tiny flakes around my eyes, which was the only way I could tell any had transferred from the brush to my lashes.

This mascara is not for everyone, but it's the perfect mascara for me. My eyelashes are long, and most mascaras cause a big mess on my face, and the weight of them causes my eyelashes to droop. My most important eyelash tool is my eyelash curler, because without it my eyelashes would just hang down. After curling, I just need a little color and some definition. This is the ONLY mascara I have ever tried, including the clear mascaras, that doesn't make my eyes goopy, messy and heavy. Bravo! I love it.

I have rarely worn makeup as an adult, but do occasionally 'enhance' myself lightly with mineral powder makeup for special occasions or for photographs. Historically I've used clear gel non-mascara lash treatment, but with my thick glasses I need a little more to make my eyes stand out. This tint is exactly what I need, giving my lashes just enough color without adding mass, and they always look 100% natural, only better. It does not rub off and seems to stand up well to light weeping, but seems to wash out fine with my usual foaming skin cleanser. I haven't had the problems with flaking that others have, perhaps some skin moisturizers make for less adhesion? I am also glad that at least Neutrogena doesn't actively animal test anymore (though its parent company still does).

This is the only mascara that doesn't bother my eyes. It's lighter than most -- just color, without the build-up or lengthening heaviness. Easy to remove...good product.

This is a very natural looking mascara...not really even a mascara, just a tint, like it says. I have blonde lashes, so this is great for the gym or weekends when I don't want to wear any makeup, but feel like I need to open up my eyes. I like it!

Adds a tiny bit of definition and color, but looks like you aren't wearing anything. Great starter mascara for tweens. Would not recommend to adults, though, unless your lashes are naturally very dark.

I have naturally really dark, thick, long lashes. I rarely wear make up at all however when I do, this is the only mascara I can use. Anything else makes my lashes look spider-like or like a drag queen. For those few times a year when I wear make up, this does an amazing job of giving my lashes some definition. Washes off easily and always looks natural. Perfect.

i was looking for a nice, natural looking mascara, and decided to try this one, based on the reviews. i was dissapointed. it has the clumps of a regular mascara, with out the strong color! however, once i run an old, cleaned masacara brush over my lashes, it looks subtle and nice, but still, i bought this stuff so i wouldn't have to go through that step. it also doesnt seem to smudge like regular mascara, and it washes off very easily. if these pros and cons suit you, then by all means, try it.
