this product is quick and easy to use. no mess. nothing gooey. easy to apply. adheres dentures easily and quickly. lasts longer than you think once adhered!! does not liquify and get icky in the back of your mouth when drinking hot liquids.
clean up is quick and easy as well, especially if you use the DOC Denture Wipes like I do. Amazing how well these two products work together.

I am fairly new at the denture 'club' (11 mos) and I hate that I was told I had to get them. But the best I can do now is make the most of the unpleasant situation. I have two upper and lower implants which are suppose to keep the dentures secure but it isn't working out that way. I tried the pastes and they are messy, big tube to take when traveling, tastes terrible, adds to my displeasure of dentures! I discovered these adhesive strips and they are a breeze to use. I understand the not pleasant gooey mess they can leave but discovered a cure for that. I don't NEED the whole strip but you can cut them while still in the package (I tear apart in twos). First I tried cutting in half but I didn't need that much either. I cut them into thirds and use only what I need -depending on how long they will be in and if I will be eating or not. If I am, I use 1/3 piece each on left and right side of top and usually the same for the bottom. IF I don't end up keeping them in very long then there may be a bit of the strip left which I use my finger nail to remove the larger bit and then rinse out my mouth with very warm water which dissolves it all. (hotter the quicker it dissolves) I hate dentures but these strips make it tolerable when vanity makes me wear them. If you haven't tried them this way, try them again and I think you will really like them!

As stated, my day cannot start without this product,and it is truly my "Best Friend".
By using PoliGrip strips I avoid having the process of going to have my dentures relined.

I have tried these strips twice, now. They are terrible! The concept is great from an ease of use and conveinence standpoint. But the stips are somewhat thick and add considerable bulk, which is not good for top and bottom wearers. At lease not me. But what is worse is what a mess they are to clean up. And when it is cleaned up, an oily, slimy residue is left behind which for me at least doesn't disappear for a week or so despite multiple cleanings (scrubbing included) each day. I have ruined 2 brushes now, as they are also coated with this sticky residue that cannot be removed from the bristles. I normally use powders and pastes with better resuts. These strips are a horrible product.

My mother is 88 and her dentures do not stay snugly in space. She doesn't like the denture adhesive creams. She doesn't find them to work well and hates that they tend to ooze. She loves the Poligrip Strips. One of her caregivers can insert or remove them easily. She finds that they hold her dentures secure and she loves the product. She uses four a day so the box of 40 lasts only 10 days

These are great, and not just for the adhesive; they also add a nice bit of cushioning between dentures and gums. The adhesive sets up quickly and holds well. But I most love the fact that it makes dentures sit more comfortably -- no sore spots.
