Indications
Use for:
Protecting minor wounds, cut, scrapes, burns, blisters and post-surgical incisions
A protective cover on reddened or fragile skin
Dressing and securing I.V. catheters or other tubing

For 6 months I've battled a nasty wound on my shin that just would not heal. I used every kind of covering and ointment I could find, and then products recommends by my Dr, but it would start to heal while covered, then would break open again when uncovered. That is, until I found Nexcare Tegaderm. I left it on for a full 6 days. And unlike everything else I tried, when I took it off, the wound had healed, there was no scab to get irritated and break open again. Two weeks later, it's still closed. Thank you Nexcare, this is a Great product!

I use Tegaderm on the advice of my doctor to protect the placement of my Transdermal Pain Patch. And since it is clear, it allows the medical staff to check on my skin without disturbing it.

If you have a minor cut/burn/blister and don't want to get water on it, this product is the answer. They stay on, even in a hot shower. These are very expensive at the local drugstore.

The pain patch prescribed for me has poor adhesive properties and due to the humidity here in Minnesota, it has been difficult to use them so that they adhere to my skin. The smaller Tegaderm patch is hard to use because of size. My friend places it for me. My next order will be for the larger size.

I am a Type 1 diabetic who uses a Medtronic Minimed insulin pump and a CGM Sensor. I wear my sensors for the full 6 days they're good and keep them covered with the Nexcare Tegaderm. I actually discovered the Tegaderm by accident when the covers Medtronic was sending me weren't staying on. I went to a nearby drugstore looking for something different and tried these. They are awesome! They're easy to put on and stay put like nothing else! If you know an insulin pump user who also wears the continuous glucose monitoring sensor, tell them to use the Tegaderm as a cover. They'll love it! They can be hard to find. I have moved and haven't been able to find them anywhere in my new area. Thank God for this site!

I was amazed at how well this product protected and allowed a burn to heal. It kept a moist clean environment, allowing it to heal from inside out. They last a week through showering and everything!

Tegaderm is difficult to find in stores, but should be in every medcine cabinet! It is THE best product I've found for those injuries that aren't easy to bandage, such as cracks on the feet, blisters, etc. They actually promote healing while protecting the injured area. Amazingly they seem to work beautifully on injuries that you thought would never heal easily. Be sure to follow the application directions, however, as the bandage can stick to itself fairly easily.

Decent price, very effective for my uses. I cut these in half and use them to cover a small pain management patch because the adhesive on the patch is iffy at best.
Clean and dry wound and surrounding skin thoroughly.
1. Peel away the printed liner from the paper-framed dressing, exposing the adhesive surface. 2. Apply dressing over wound. Do not stretch the dressing when applying. 3. Remove the paper frame from the dressing while smoothing down the edges.
Directions for removal:
Gently lift edge of dressing, slowly peel from skin in direction of hair growth. Change dressing if it begins to leak, is no longer sticking to skin, or there are holes or tears in dressing.
