This stuff will stop diarrhea. It has a pretty awful taste: sort of minty chalky ewww. I always have to chase it with some juice or ginger ale. But this really works fast--usually within an hour for me. One caution: if I have to repeat the dose, (i.e. 9 tbls total) it does make me sleepy. But if I am sick enough to need Imodium liquid, I need to be in bed anyway.

The moment I hear gurgling in my belly or feel pain and/or spasms, I take a cup of this and within 5 min I am good to go. Rarely need a 2nd cup. A life saver. (Pill form just doesn't work for me.)

For IBS, it's important to catch a flare up right away. First gurgling in belly is a red flag. This liquid form of Imodium works quickly. Rarely need a 2nd cup but if so, I go for it. Never constipating. Just regulates me. Allows me to leave the house without worry. Though I carry a small bottle w/me at all times. No bathroom drama to deal with.
