I have found that only the tablets work. I have tried most all brands other than Lactaid, even other forms of Lactaid and have found that the tablets work better than any generic, or double of any other form of the lactose products

Great for lactose intolerance - just remember to take with your first bite of food containing dairy. These tablets really work for lactose intolerance, but sometimes it's best to take two if you're consuming a lot of dairy at one meal or eating more later in the day. And they taste great! Drugstore.com carries these for a very reasonable price.

I thought I would try these out once. They work great but they taste HORRIBLE. I have to break them in half and swallow them with water just not to taste them. I wouldn't buy them again but at least I tried them. The taste is the only draw back.

I have been using the chewables for years now and they work wonderfully. I am originally from the Midwest where dairy is a way of life. I did not become intolerant until I was in my late teens and thankfully these were found to curb all the pain, gas, runny stools that would occur because of my dairy in take. I turn all my lactose intolerant friends and family on to them. Personally I take 2 per serving of dairy becaues my intolerance seems to be more on the strong side and one pill just wont cut it. AND they taste great! The vanilla flavor never ruins a meal wether it be ice cream or alfredo sauce!!! :)

Lactaid Fast Act is a life saver when I am out to dinner and the only things on the menu contain milk products. I never go anywhere without my little packets. The individually wrapped chewables are portable and easy to carry in your pocket book or pocket.
