I used this first without realizing it wasn't the same Pledge oil I had been using; this one made the piece of furniture I started dusting brilliantly shiny. First off you've got to know that I don't clean the house any more. Now you have to understand that as soon as I saw how continuiously beautiful that one piece of furniture remained, I started dusting everything in sight! (Totally exhausted me.) The smell is wonderful but not overpowering and the oil itself has got to be the best I have ever used, and I've used some expensive stuff. Now, making my life a lot less congested, dust doesn't alight very quickly after using this Pledge oil.

I love the smell of this product, and the orange scent makes my home smell so good. In my opinion, this oil tends to work best on older wood/antique surfaces. The older the surface, the more the furniture grabbed the oil. Every piece of furniture looked beautiful when I was finished.

When I applied this to our bedroom furniture, which is not an antique, it left a very slick, greasy, wet surface. To combat this problem, I ended up with a rag in one hand, and an old sock on the other hand. The old sock worked great to "buff" the oil from my "new" bedroom furniture. I'll stick to other Pledge products to clean furniture with newer wood surfaces.

I used this on an old chess table that looked a bit dull. Wow! it looks great now. I have also used it on an old bathroom counter (synthetic,not wood) and that also looks great. After heavy application, I let it stay on wood for about 10 minutes, then wipe dry. It takes multiple wipes with a clean cloth each time to finally get the surface "dry" but it is worth it!

I recently purchased a lovely solid pine dining set with hutch, table, eight chairs, and buffet. This had been neglected for quite awhile before I received, and the wood was dry looking and very "thirsty". I purchased the Pledge Orange Oil and it was the best decision I could have made. You could immediately notice the shine, and as time passed the wood continued to "drink in" the orange oil. It has restored this lovely set to it's original luster. I will certainly purchase this product time and time again.

I inherited a rather large dining room buffet recently. It had smoke damage, rings on the wood (which is oak, I believe) from wet drinking glasses and had not been polished in over 20 years. I thought that it was probably beyond repair. However, this polish has worked beautifully on all of my other wood furniture, so I applied this to my buffet. My buffet now looks BRAND NEW. Enough said.
