It's fairly accepted that pomegranate is a great anti-oxidant and this is a very convenient way to get that into your diet. These are capsules and don't provide a complete seal for the ingredients. There is a strong unpleasant smell and taste (not one you would attribute to pomegranate) that comes through. I find it necessary to swallow it quickly with liquid so that it doesn't leave a taste in my mouth. The ingredients are 200mg of pomegranate extract, with 40% ellagic acid, and 150mg of pomegranate seed.
