Very gentle with soft brushes unlike other brushes. Love the gentle oxyjet which really helps my husband's gum problems. Good reviews by my dentist who said sonic is too hard on teeth. Messy to use and weak part is where jet cord meets appliance.

I love this tooth brushing system. My husband and son thought it was to harsh on their teeth and gum. I have seen a huge inprovement in my gums since I started using. My daugther just started using while in town for a visit and wants one of her own. I would definately reccommend this system to everyone.

I purchased my unit in 2005 and have not been disappointed. The timer feature on the toothbrush ensures thorough brushing. As noted in other posts, I have also had problems with the oxyjet attachments clogging over time. I ordered a new set online. They come in a pack just like the replacement toothbrush heads do. Recently, I began adding a little Hydrogen Peroxide to the water in the resevoir to enhance the oxygenation action. A side benefit appears to be continual sanitization of the resevoir. It's as pristine as the day I opened the box. I'm hoping that this will help with the clogging problem as well (we'll see). I find the oxygenating irrigator to be more gentle than the Waterpik I owned previously and consistently use it on its highest setting. As a coffee drinker, I've noticed that my teeth are whiter after using it, even without Hydrogen Peroxide added. All in all, I feel I've gotten my money's worth. My gums look and feel great.

I've used it twice daily for about a year. The power brush portion is simple but flawless. The irrigator jet heads, in my particular water and usage, start to slow down in just a month or two. My current maintenance theory is to use citric acid at the same concentration I use to de-scale my espresso machine about once a month. I think very small mineral deposits from my water first slow and then jam the rotating component in the jet head, which is fatal. I've not managed to recover the first head, and the second is iffy, but the third is going strong after months, and I still have the fourth in reserve. It is not, repeat not, a suitable travel tool.

I had a similar all in one system for over 5 yrs and it finally started leaking. The original had a much more powerful water jet. This one, even set at the highest does not provide the intensity that I was used to. It is a little more complicated to use too as one must turn on the jet both on the unit and the actual device. The original was a prettier color, aqua and this is a medium blue.

I just bought the Oral-B OxyJet a few weeks ago. So far so good. I replaced another Oral-B electric toothbrush and a water cleaning device that had lasted a long time. Both of those products were good this one is better. It has the perfect water pressure and since the toothbrush is always charging (when not in use) it always has plenty of power.I[@]Like I said I haven't had it that long but so far so good!

Product is easy to use and effective. Negatives are the irrigators seem to clog easily and replacements are not easy to find. My first one also sprung a leak in the irrigator water line that necessitated buying a new one 3 years later.

I have sensitive teeth and receding gums. I have had gum surgery. At the advice of a dental specialist, I bought and wore out a Sonicare brush. It was hard to clean, but helped my gums. Then I bought an Oral B 9000 brush, and used it three or four times a day, plus used the gum massage mode. It saved me from more gum surgery, and was much easier to clean. I also use a Water Pik before each brushing. When my Oral B brush wore out after years of use, I bought this combination product to save counter space and gain the benefit of air entrained in the water stream. The water irrigation worked well. The brush was hard to power down for my sensitive, fragile gums, and there was no gum massage mode. I returned the product on the manufacturer's 30 day challenge, and bought an Oral B 9900 brush.
