I have had a persistent and painful corn on my small toe for a year or two, and it's getting worse recently. I thought I would have to go see a specialist, but before that, I figured I can try a corn remover kit first. I followed instructions, leaving the medical disk on for 48 hours, then rinse and repeat. The skin underneath becomes white and loose. I was able to remove some of the skin after the second medical disk. It took me about 5 or 6 medical disks but my corn as been completely removed! The process takes time and patience, but it's completely painless and safe. Highly recommended. VS Most Liked Negative Review Not perfect, but it does work. I ultimately needed two kits, and it took over a month to completely rid myself of the corn- and it wasn't a big corn. At first, I used it as instructed, applying the disk and covering it with the soft pad. It was on the bottom of my foot, and as I walked around, the pad and the disk would slide out of place. I then skipped the pad, and bandaged over the disk with J&J paper medical tape. The disk slid around less this way. The salicylic acid in the disks breaks down the corn and any skin it touches. Eventually, the skin turns white, and falls off. Sometimes, it would peel off with the disk when I removed the bandage. I would apply the disks repeatedly for a week or so, then give my skin a few days break to recover a little (it seemed necessary). I'd use Neosporin in the in-between times, to protect the area from infection. As the problem area seemed to become smaller, I cut the disks into smaller and smaller sizes. The process of breaking down the corn is a little uncomfortable, but not unbearable. The outcome is, the corn was completely removed after several weeks. It's been about 10 months since, and it hasn't returned, so far. Perhaps the people who say that it didn't fully remove the corn, needed to treat the area longer. Obviously, you don't want to go too far, but I continued until I could see that the corn was gone. I would recommend this product, but don't expect it's use to go smoothly or work as quickly as the package suggests. Be prepared to make modifications. This will work if you give it time and patience. Reviewed by 10 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-10 3/30/2015 (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) It Works! Pros

It took me several applications, and even then, it worked OK. The problem I had was that the medicated disc did not stay put after walking on them, so it would slide onto the good skin, which is bad, because it works by dissolving the callous, although maybe "dissolving" isn't the best word. The area where the medicated pad is stuck to turns white and then it eventually falls off. (6 of 7 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Cons Best Uses Comments about Dr. Scholl's Corn Removers, 9 ea: Once a month or so, a bone spur on my little toe causes a corn to form on the toe. This product does the trick. The covering for the actual corn remover is very thin and stays adhered in the shower. I use it for about 3 days, then a few days later, the thickened skin which has been whitened is easily removed. Voila! No more corn! Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (6 of 28 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about Dr. Scholl's Corn Removers, 9 ea: These take a little of the corn off, however not completely. The pads have a tendency to slip off once your foot becomes hot in your shoe; therefore the effectiveness of the medicated pad is useless. Stopped buying these and now buy just pads and larger shoes in hopes that the problem will go away on its own. (7 of 16 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful?
