Dr. Scholl please forgive me for ever trying starts with a Wal and ends with a green version. It was pathetic. You're supposed to leave them on for 48 hrs. It started coming off, even before I got into the shower. Never again. Never had this problem until I stopped in that store. It was all they carried, their own brand. Note to self-drive past Starts with a Wal and ends with a green.

Probably let the calluses on the bottom of my feet go too long without trying to remove them so it has taken several applications to remove. This product just works!

This is really a cinch to use. You just peel off the little disc and put it on the callus. You then peel off the bigger protective pad and put it on top. The adhesive is definitely strong enough that it's not going to come off until you take it off. The product works, but yes, it peels off the skin after the acid has killed it. The new skin underneath may be a bit sensitive at first, but it's nothing terrible. And yes, the disc will give you a white spot where the callus is, but that's also the part that comes off. And the white goes away shortly anyways.

All in all, I would definitely recommend this product. I've had calluses for a long time and never knew it was this simple to get rid of them.

I just came to Drugstore.com to say how happy I am with this thing! I had a callus on the sole of my foot for at least 10 years--no exaggeration. Lotions and pedicures did nothing for me. My friend recommended this to me after it worked for her. So I tried it and after using it for three days, it removed my callus. It works like a miracle, but you have to use it for at least 3 or 4 days on tough calluses or it won't be effective. One drawback is that you need to remove it before taking a shower because the cushion isn't waterproof at all. And if you have a callus larger than 1-2 cm in diameter, this probably won't work for you because the medicated disk is really small. Definitely give it a shot!

By the way, the person who posted a negative review here about bleached skin seems a little confused. I think she was seeing the layers of dead skin loosening and falling off, which is exactly what the product is supposed to do. Maybe she doesn't understand what the word callus means and was expecting something else?

This is by far the best product for removing thick calluses. The padded cover relieves callus pain instantly and after a day or so the dead skin of the callus turns white and flexible. After a couple of applications the dead skin peels right off with the medicated disk and the callus is gone.

I bought this product because there werent's any reviews... which meant there weren't any BAD reviews, so it couldn't be totally worthless. Boy, was I wrong.

First of all, the product that is actually put on to dissolve the calluses is salicylic acid. That didn't sound to bad, I mean, that's what acne medicines use and such. However, the salicylic acid did NOTHING to my callus but BLEACH my skin (and pulling it off was DISGUSTING as apparently all the melanin from my skin was now stuck to the adhesive or something equally creepy and gross).

These patches are designed to stay on for 48 hours - this means both the bandaid adhesive is outrageously strong, but also that you can't take a shower with it on, otherwise the rather UNsticky actual medicated pad will just slide around on your foot under the "cushion" bandaid (that also did basically nothing to cushion). The uncallused skin on my feet where the medicated part slid around is also bleached and the skin is even peeling off my foot. I put on the second treatment last night, but had to take it off this morning because my skin started burning. ..... doing this with the super adhesive actually PEELED AWAY SEVERAL LAYERS OF THE SKIN ON MY FEET.

Save yourself the trouble and the pain and pay for a great pedicure and just keep up with a pumice stone and a great lotion.
