I love this shampoo. My hair looks and feels healthier than it has from any other shampoo. I usually buy salon-type shampoo, but I bought this because my teenage daughter told me not to use shampoos with sodium laurel/laureth sulfate in them anymore. I also tend to break out slightly on my back I think from the fragrances added to mainstream shampoos and conditioners, so this is a relief.

I wanted to try a fragrance-free shampoo because my skin is extremely sensitive to fragrances and I thought my scalp might appreciate a break. However, this shampoo had my hair feeling like straw within a matter of days. I will not finish the container.

sodium myreth sulfate is an inexpensive foaming agent. It's also similar to sodium laureth sulfate.

If you don't like fragrances, you're going to love this product. This is one of the cleanest shampoos I've ever used and wonderfully has NO SCENT - I hate scents and I'm allergic. I also use Earth Science no scent conditioner.
