I've been trying to find a face wash that helps with oily skin but doesn't go overboard and make my skin really dry. This is the only face wash I've found that gets off makeup without leaving my skin dry or feeling like it's left a residue behind. I have combination skin and it has balanced out my skin. The areas that are usually oily are less oily and the areas that are dry are more moisturized. It's hard to find in stores so I was happy to find it on here! I use the Earth Science almond moisturizer at night too and neither of these products have a ever caused a breakout, which is important to me.

just ok... doesn't clear up acne but doesn't make it worse either... the pump broke so I have to leave the bottle open and pour it into my hand... probably wouldn't buy again.

I have very acne prone skin that is sensitive, combination with some areas prone to severe dryness (from several courses of accutane years ago). My skin is FUSSY. After learning what animal byproducts are in conventional soaps, I ran screaming to the local organic foods store to find something cruelty-free. Thankfully I found this, I absolutely love this cleanser! I have used it for nearly a year with excellent results. It controls my acne but does not overly dry my skin. I do like to use an exfoliating pad with it, which always without fail clears out whatever breakouts I have. I will cry if they change the formula. It can be slightly drying, and I like the almond facial moisturizer from the same brand (but very watered down, it is quite rich).

People sometimes have the assumption that just because something is natural, it will heal all of your skin concerns....not always true, lol! I just bought this cause i have an issue with slathering by-products and unknown chemicals on myself. It gets the job done; it cleans my face.My skin is combination/oily and I dont need a cleaner with a moisturizer in it, but at the same time i dont want something to strip my face completely. Thats why I love this product so much! It does smell like neutrogena, which doesnt bother me. If it bothers you, I wouldnt recommend getting this.

I seek this product out because I believe it is the best gentle sudsy facial cleanser and it is not easy to find unless you're in a specialty store. Basically, the pump is convenient, it is pretty much unscented, it doesn't dry out my combination skin either. It leaves my skin with a perfect moisture balance but definitely washes away the oil. This is my holy grail facial wash.

I was looking for a good organic facial cleanser, but this smelled bad which was my initial turn-off. It also felt like I had to use a lot for it to cover my face. I didn't have any negative skin reaction to it, which is why it didn't get a rating of one star, but I would not recommend it or buy it again.

I'm a guy! For years I 've used Jason's Clean Start Refreshing Cleanser #1 and it's really good. But it is often quite hard to find for some reason. So I've kept looking over the years for another that is clear, feels simple and clean, and does the job. In this product I've finally found a good alternative.

Leaves my skin too oily.

I like this product. I have acne prone skin and have been using cetaphil ever since I went off of accutane, but wanted to switch to natural products. I prefer to use neutral cleansers that won't neccesarily clear up acne on its own as I use nature's cure (great product to clear skin!!) and this cleanser is great for a gentle cleanser. It leaves my skin soft and not too oily.

This smelled and felt like Neutrogena which I hate.
