I use this to treat the degenerating disks in my back. My therapist recommends icing, I'm doing it. It works. I use it while I nap and do chores. It holds great and I can really feel the cold through the wrap. I'm in Iraq, so thanks for shipping to an APO box.

Be careful while using this product. Only ice for 15 minutes at a time. Any longer than that, you run the risk of frostbite (which I happened to do). Even though this pack has it's own neoprene cover, you still need to have a layer of covering on your skin IN ADDITION to the pack and the cover. I figured the cover was enough and got a 4 x 4 square inch patch of mild frostbite on my knee. It felt and looked just like a burn. Luckily, because I didn't have the pack on too long, the burn was mild. But, left on any longer, I could have had permanent damage to not only the skin, but to tissue or even the bone under the skin, per my doctor. However, when used properly this pack worked great on the tendonitis in both of my knees.

The high price gave me pause, but I can not recommend this product highly enough. I get painful shin splints from running, and the ICE Down provides great relief. It gets cold (if anything too cold), and keeps a cold temperature for a long time. I've wrapped it around my legs and used it for an hour and it stayed the same cold temperature as when I first took it out of the freezer. I've used it on my legs, and on my neck and temples to help alleviate a stress headache, and it has worked outstanding on both. If you have any kind of condition that is helped by cold therapy, you would do well to buy this product. You will not be disappointed.

I stash this in a cooler in the car and strap it on my hip after basketball or martial arts training sessions. I had arthroscopic repair of the hip done in March. Very durable and stays cold a long time.

I have had an ACL and still play lots of tennis and work out. I use this wrap after any athletic activity and/or for occasional knee pain. The cold pack envelops the entire knee and it is very well made. I have wasted lots of money in the past on cheaper, inferior wraps of poor quality that just do not hold up or do as good a job of providing cold therapy for the entire knee. Well worth the money!
