I have used up several cans of this product. I always have fun trying new things, but this is my favorite mousse. I'll not stray again!

I actually have straight hair, and this mousse makes my hair sleek, smooth and FULL. I get such amazing volume with this mousse and it doesnt dry my hair out at all. The foam is thick... not runny at all. I begun stocking up on this again. It not only performs but as of the date of this review Tresemme doesnt animal test and the price is definitely right!

I have only tried this product once. It was easy to use and smells good. I had put this product in and styled my hair. I went to work. When I went to the ladies room, my hair felt stiff. I had to wash it out when I got home. I will give it another try.

I have curly hair and have used many different products over the years. Those products would eventually be discontinued or I just wouldn't be able to find them again. I have used TRESemme products for probably 20 years now and I've always loved their products. When I found this mousse, I was so happy that an inexpensive product would work so well on my hair and I can always find it in most any drugstore. I get compliments all the time on my long, blonde, curls and I tell everyone that this is my first choice in keeping my hair looking great. I also use the shampoo for curly hair, which I love. Give this mousse a try. I think you will really like it.

Thought I'd grab the cheap mousse for once to get my curls goin... what a mistake! The opposite of tight curls, smooth, or soft. Left my hair looking frizzy and feeling ultra DRY! Definitely not for this gal's head of hair.

This product does its job too well. I have fine, thin hair and so I use around the volume of a one-inch long pencil. It makes a no-frizz style, and it has a serious amount of hold. I think this product is better suited for hair that's thicker than mine.

I used this product today and WOW! My hair is very thick, super-curly, dry and frizzy. I wet my hair and applied the mousse. I worked it through my hair and let it air-dry. It first dried crunchy and wieghed down, but I squeezed my hair and broke up the crunch gently. My hair was gorgeous. The curls were well-defined, shiny, bouncy, full and frizz-free. It's a small price to pay for near-perfection. My only complaint is that it's sticky when you apply it, but that fades after it dries.I even went to the shore with high humidity and there was no frizz. I am convinced. I will definitely buy again.

I have a lot of thick curly hair. I tried this yesterday because it said it's moisturizing and it defines your curls... just the opposite. It left a terrible build up on my hair, it feels dry, and it did not define the curls at all. Worst of all it has that crispy feeling. I'm going to have to wash my hair again to get this out of my hair today. I'm going to stick to the curl shaping milk, that is pretty good.

i started using this stuff when i first moved in with my boyfriend and i fell inlove with it i never heard about till than and it was amazing it leaves my hair feeling soft and my curls look smooth it doesn't get them all hard and i love how they don't frizz after a couple of hourss my favorite moussee everr!!!!

I have used this brand of mousse since the early 90's and have yet to find a better mousse out there for my hair. (I am hispanic with medium hair...not fine or coarse. My hair is full of 3b and 3c curls with a sprinkle of 3a and it works wonderfully on all of them..If you dont know what kind of curl you have, look it up, curly hair starts at 3a, wavy hair starts at 2a, , Z shaped tighter curls 4a...you really need to know what your hair is to understand peoples descriptions of what works for what hair. Some people with wavy hair think they have curly hair...and I don't think this is the product for them. (I could be wrong though) I also do not know that this would be too good for type 4 curls as I think it would be too drying with more fragile type 4 hair which tends to very very dry to begin with) WORD OF ADVICE, back in the day (early 90's) tresemme only made ONE type of mousse, it was fantastic. Then over the years they started making a few different formulas. If you have curly hair (if you are type 3 curl at least) you MUST use the curly hair one...I half wonder if these bad reviews are from people who have used the other mousse "blends" they offer...because the other ones totally suck. It has to be THIS one...or nothing. The other ones leave my hair tangled, sticky, and when dry they flake making me look like I have a bad case of dandruff. I also disagree on amount used (perhaps because I live in an area where 75%-95% humidity is the norm and I have found that I always need way more product in humidity vs. if I am up north where humidity is much lower) To be fair, I have hair nearly down to my butt...but I use about 6 egg sized squirts on EACH side of my head and work through evenly, yes, for a total of 12. I put it in damp hair (that has a little frizz ease OR dr. bronners hair cream in first...I need the extra frizz control here though I have to be careful because this can weigh my hair down a tad too much if I over do it but is corrected by day 2) THIS is the perfect amount for my hair in high humidity. My hair will STAY frizz free for TWO DAYS in VERY high humidity, and I do not even do anything special at night to keep it from frizzing. I can get an extra 3rd day before washing if I reactivate it with a bit of water spritzing but day one and day two require nothing further from me for perfect hair. (Day 3 I wake up with a little of that fuzz halo around the crown of my head where it is starting to frizz but the rest is still usually in pretty good shape) Now if I am in low humidity I need wayyyyy less, a little less than half that amount...so this is something to think about when figuring YOUR right amount. This formula is wonderful, it defines each curl perfectly and leaves them looking shiny and glossy which is hard to get for a type 3 or higher curl as our hair tends to appear much more dull than other hair types. I do not blow dry (though I did in the 90's lol) because it leaves my hair too puffy (turns every curl on my head into a 3c and shrinks my length a good 6-7 inches) I just put it in damp, give a quick scrunch and let air dry. Every so often I flip my head over and scrunch out the crunch as it is drying, shake, and stand up...perfect hair every time! People think I spend hours on my hair...but really after I step out of the shower it is under five minutes of application and working it through and just 2 or three quick "scrunchings" as it dries. No big deal. I have tried many other brands when the curl one is not on the shelf (which is way too often...) and none compare. I have actually tried REALLY hard to find a natural/organic alternative (as I have switched pretty much everything we use to more natural and/or organic about 8-9 years ago) but after about 8+ years now of searching for that natural product that can take its place...well, I keep coming back. Nothing else works as well. I would even be willing to pay up to [$] for a product that was natural and could work this well...so for me it really is not about price, its about how it makes my hair LOOK, this is the best, period.

I absolutely love this mousse for my curly hair. Before I found this I was using, frizz serum, then gel followed by hairspray. Now all I have to use is this one product on my wet hair and I blow dry and the results are soft beautiful curls. I did only give it 4 stars because the product does build up and I do have to use a clarifying shampoo by the end of the week. Other than the buildup I am very happy with this product and I will use again and again.
