We had such bad stains on our den carpets in traffic-ways, but this got them out and the old, old carpet looks better than I ever though it could.

This product works very well on all types of stains, spots, and general dirty traffic paths in carpet. I use it with the Woolite Rug Stick which makes application and scrubbing much easier. When using with the Rug Stick, however, you go through the can rather quickly (the reason I gave it only 4 stars). I'm not sure if the same would happen without the stick, or if it's just that I use too much. A nice bonus for me is that both of my children like to use the Rug Stick, so they help with the carpet cleaning! For extensive cleaning, I'll still drag out the steam cleaning machine, but for quick spot cleaning, I think the Woolite can't be beat!

Love this! I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked to lift dirt the first time I used it, and have repurchased several times. It makes a great pre-treater before steam cleaning, or just for carpet spots anytime. The only downside for me was that one can didn't seem to go very far on heavy traffic areas.
Vacuum thoroughly to remove loose dirt. Always test for colorfastness on a clean, small, hidden area, and examine with dry. If color or texture is affected, do not use. Look for manufacturer's cleanability code tag. Use on fabrics coded "WS" or "W". If coded "X" or "S", do not use. Do not use on velvet, silk, leather, vinyl, or cotton..
Shake Can Well before and frequently during use.
Rug Stick™: Move green lever on Rug Stick™ to "lock" position. Remove cap from can. Shake can well. Snap can into the foot of the Rug Stick™. Manual: To apply, hold can upside down two feet from area. Depress Button Completely to spray an even layer. (Note: To avoid streaming of product from can, press button firmly and completely.)
Rug Stick™: Move green lever on Rug Stick™ to "spray" position. With brush facing up, release foam by pulling Rug Stick™ toward you. Manual: With a damp mop or sponge, spread foam into area. Continue to work into area until clean. For best cleaning results, spread foam in multiple directions.
Rug Stick™: Flip over the Rug Stick™ so brush is pointing down. Brush foam into carpet. For best cleaning results, use brush in multiple directions. Let dry, then vacuum. Drying time may vary due to humidity and length of carpet pile. For heavily soiled areas, repeat applications may be necessary.
Rinse stick after use. Move green lever to "lock" position before storing.
