At first this lotion was great. The scent wasn't overly heavy and it wasn't contributing to my acne. After I finished my first bottle, my acne was getting better but I was getting these terrible blackheads on my cheeks! I stopped using lotion all together (my skin is oily and sensitive) and my skin was much better after I discontinued use. I think that this is better for those with drier skin types.

My Dermatologist gave me some in sample sizes to try and with some percriptions they gave me. I noticed great results right away within 2 weeks! It does what it says and more! It reduced all my redness after using my perscriptions and dramatically soothed, moisturied and calmed my face. In fact today I'm going with my dad to go buy some more! I'm not sure how it works for adults but for other teens like myself I totally reccomend it!! I normally love Aveeno products, but not this one. My advice is test a small spot on your face before putting it all over. I found this product to be thin and greasy. Hope In A Jar is a much better consistency.

I have extremely dry, flaky facial skin, that often turns a bit red. I was excited to try this product. However, after a few days with this product, my skin became unbearably red, flaky and tight. Be careful with this product if you have really sensitive skin.

Overall, just about everything I'm looking for in a moisturizer for my combo skin: moisture, but not gloppy and greasy, especially good for summer; no whitish cast like some other all-physical sun blocking lotions (not that this one is); calms my skin down instead of firing it up (my skin redness and sensitivity comes mostly from Retin-A usage and a very minor history of rosacea); and a nice base for makeup. My only beef: not quite enough SPF for my taste. Would have been five stars with a 30 or 45 (and no fragrance). But way better than Purpose Redness Reducing, although it has a 30, because the Purpose is just too greasy. Sure, you can use less, but then how effective is the sunscreen? I'll stick with the Aveeno, which has been fantastic and just the right matteness for makeup on top. A great find.

I am on the "acne cure" program, and part of the regimen is to use an oil free moisturizer with an SPF 15. I had been using Neutrogena's oil free moisturizer, and thought it to be sufficient. Wal-Mart didn't have it in stock, so I bought this Aveeno product. I love it! It far surpasses the other one I was using. Lovely light scent, and really rubs in well. It's a lot less greasy than other moisturizers. I totally recommend this product!

For starters, anyone with acne problems -- this is in no way a treatment for acne. If you want help with that I suggest you get the book "The Acne Cure" by Terry Dubrow. This is an excellent product for anyone who is prone to uneven skin tone caused by redness, i.e. excessive blushing or broken capillaries under the skin. (FYI: once you can see the capillaries, you need a laser to get rid of them.) This product did wonders for my excessive blushing and I hope it will do the same for you. For the reviewers who broke out in rashes it is likely they came from the sunscreen agent used in the moisturizer. I had a similar reaction with a different sunscreen agent in Neutrogena's Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup.

This is the best facial moisturizer I've tried. Not only did it help clear up the frequent acne I had since I was a teenager (am now 29), I swear it also makes my skin glow and I look more youthful! It took me several months before finally deciding to buy it due to its cost, but I am so glad I did. Now I have a stockpile. I hope and pray this is never discontinued.

This product was a complete disaster for me. After one day of wearing it on my face, I broke out in dozens of little white bumps. Not believing they could possibly be from the moisturizer, I tried it again a week later...and got the same results. It is also unnecessarily greasy and sports a rather department store-ish scent. Not for the sensitive skinned.
