I have used expensive brand cleansers in the past and was hoping to switch to something less expensive. This had good reviews so I tried it. It does remove makeup (something one specific expensive brand did not do) but my combination skin felt very dry after washing. I also started to break out, more than one pimple, which I have not done in years. Might have to go back to the expensive brand cleanser. I had big hopes for this one though.

I occasionally have flareups of perioral dermatitis (irration, redness, and tiny pimple-like bumps around my mouth and nose) and this is the only cleanser that calms it down without drying the skin or over-moisturizing it so that it feels greasy.
