I have very good boots, they fit me as well as non-custom boots can, but with how much I hike, I still get blisters, around 8-9 miles my feet bother me. It could be that I live in PA, aka the sea of rocks, there are seriously a lot of rocks in PA, you really cannot understand how bad it is unless you've hiked long distances here. My foot moves around quite a bit in my boots, which means rubbing. Nothing stays on like moleskin. To those not familiar, if you have a blister or open skin, cover it with a bandaid or cut a strip of gauze, or the moleskin will rip the skin off. My favorite combination is a band-aid tough strip, with molskin overtop, about 1/2"-1" of molskin touching skin around the band-aid. If your boots are really bad, you can also use the moleskin on the inside of the boot, but it will stick there, possibly forever, so be sure you really want it in there! This is the best moleskin Ive ever used, much stickier than other brands. NO WHERE on the package did it give directions of how to remove the product. Guess I don't have to be concerend for the irritation that was the reason as to why I purchased the procuts. I used them this morning with my tennis shoes. Worked great the whole time I was out shopping. Came home to change into my flip flops and the padding on both feet was loose and falling off.. If it wasnt for that, I would rate this a 5 because while it was on, it did work great.. p.s... I read the reviews about lotions, so I made sure my skin was dr Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend (1 of 2 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Husband always complains about his feet and toes. Voila', along came Moleskin and he likes it. Comments about Dr. Scholl's Moleskin Plus Padding Strips, 4-5/8 inch x 3-3/8 inch, 3 ea: I LOVE this stuff. I bought a pair of gorgeous sandles and the leather strap stretched out over my toes, I cut moleskin and applied it to the leather underside of the strap and now they fit again and feel awesome. I normally apply the moleskin to the shoes and not my skin. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (10 of 10 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about Dr. Scholl's Moleskin Plus Padding Strips, 4-5/8 inch x 3-3/8 inch, 3 ea: When buying a pair of shoes, there's always that "break in" period where they might rub your ankles or elsewhere. Moleskin is the absolute best fix for it! I have never had a blister again when I've used this product. I cut a piece big enough to cover the affected area and can go the entire day without any issues. I've found that over time, good shoes will break in and I wont need the moleskin anymore but cheap shoes you'll always need it. Comments about Dr. Scholl's Moleskin Plus Padding Strips, 4-5/8 inch x 3-3/8 inch, 3 ea: I use moleskin as a shoe pad in shoes that can't take a thick pad, such as dress shoes. It makes my feet feel more comfortable and helps prevent callouses. I also use it under porcelain objects to protect the furniture and other uses like that. By Lisa from Undisclosed Comments about Dr. Scholl's Moleskin Plus Padding Strips, 4-5/8 inch x 3-3/8 inch, 3 ea: As a dedicated dancer, I have gotten many a blister on my feet. I've tried every blister product out there and this is by far the best. I need something that is easy and keeps going strong, I dance 16 hours a week, I've got no time for a blister to slow me down! I find when you will be moving around a lot it's best to first put on a Band-Aid, then the moleskin, and then cover it all with medical tape. Stays on forever!
