Sore throat warning: if sore throat is severe, persists for more than 2 days, is accompanied or followed by fever, headache, nausea or vomiting, consult a doctor promptly. These may be serious. Ask a doctor before use if you have: persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, or emphysema. Or cough accompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus). Stop use and ask a doctor if cough persists for more than one week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache. These could be signs of a serious condition. Or, if sore mouth does not improve in 7 days, or if irritation, pain, or redness persists or worsens. Keep out of reach of children. Phenylketonurics: Contains Phenylalanine 2 mg Per Drop. Excessive consumption may have a laxative effect.
I've been watching my sugar intake and didn't realize how much sugar is in a cough drop (and they don't normally taste good enough to be worth it anyway!)!!
I bought a bag of these and won't ever go back! There are different mint flavors and all work to soothe a sore throat. While there may be fewer in the bag, SF products are always more expensive and in this case, it's totally worth it.
The mint doesn't burn and dare I say, actually tastes good! I highly recommend!
I like the different mint flavors better than the other versions of this product, but the number of drops is significantly lower than in sugared drops (same brand name) and much higher in cost. Feels like a ripoff, but there are fewer better sugar-free products.
