My son has used another brand since he was 2 yrs old and the results for very easy to track. We got this brand at age 10 (full range) and the numbers are all over the place. It's not easy to get an accurate reading at all. I'm looking for the other brand now.

I've used several different types of peak flow meters, both in the home and at the doctor's office, so I know my range generally. This peak flow meter consistently gives me numbers that are at least 100 less than any other meter, so its accuracy is questionable. Also, the numbers are so small that I have to locate my reading glasses before using.

This peak flow meter is nice & compact, so fits better in the medicine cabinet or drawer than my previous one. the numbers are a bit on the small side, so a little difficult to read with aging eyes, so may need to have reading glasses handy, if an older adult.
