This is a great moisturizer for me, and gives enough color to my pale skin to make it look warm and glowy. I'll use it year-round for the nice color it gives, saving the stronger self-tanners for summer. The smell is perfectly fine for me. It disappears after a little while anyway. To prevent blotching on the elbows/knees, I put on some other moisturizer just before applying this one. Not so hard to do. I would give this a chance!

This is a great sunless tanning product for the winter, when you don't want to be pasty but don't want to look unnaturally dark, either. I don't like the scent in the product, but after I apply it I sprinkle talc-free baby powder on liberally afterwards. Then I put on pajamas and go to bed. That eliminates the odor problem. I wake up with a nice light glow.

I like this product very much. It builds a tan gradually and does not get as dark around the ankles, knees and elbows as self tanners in the past have. I fault it only because of its smell, or should I say how I smell after using it! It is not as offensive on me as self tanners I have used in the past, but it definitely is not great, and does alter the fragrance I wear. After one application it takes as much as three days for it to completely disappear, so I never use it before a special occasion. It seems a lot of other people have the same problem. Oh for the day this problem is corrected!

I have used many different self tanners, and this is by far the best. With every other tanner I gave myself blotches around my ankles or elbows, but this tan builds slowly enough to prevent these unnatural spots. It definitely takes a few days' use before you notice a difference, but it is completely worth it!

I've been using this for about 3 weeks now and I love it because of the color it gives me and how good it works with my extremely sensitive skin. I've had really bad eczema ever since I was a baby (it comes and goes every now and then) and my doctor told me to stay away from any kind of lotion except Eucerin, but this still hasn't even caused me to break out and it doesn't even sting when I put it on. The smell is not the best, but I think it's bearable. Just be sure to wash your hands after you put it on, especially if you have long nails. I didn't and now the tips of my nails are orange! A little bit of nail polish can cover it up though!

After a few applications, it darkens the skin just a little. It's not really a tan, but it takes off the really white look my skin has in winter months. However, the one thing I don't like is how sticky it is. It doesn't matter how long I wait to get dressed, my clothes will stick to me from this cream. Very uncomfortable. The smell could be better.

Awesome product. It really does what it says. I've been using this for a little over a month now and the hint of color that I've gotten is great. I'm bronze all over. I also love the hint of shimmer it gives off. I love it so much that I bought 3 of them when it went on sale. =) As some have mentioned, there is a slight smell. However, it doesn't bother me at all. I think the scent may mix differently with a person's sweat chemistry, just the way perfume does.

I've been using this product between Mystic tanning for about 2 weeks, and the only thing it did to my skin was make it smell HORRIBLE! It smells okay in the bottle, but after about 2 minutes on it is nasty and stays with you all day. I think Ill stick with Mystic and try the shave-minimizing moisturizer. I had 2 friends try it, and they had the same problem.

I love it. My skin is so soft and not at all streaky or orange. I noticed that the people who stated that their skin was orange also stated that their skin had streaks. The streaks are from not rubbing the lotion in enough, which is probably a result of using too much. I've been using just enough to coat my skin, and I make sure it's rubbed in and it's been working great! One thing you can do to avoid the orange ankles, elbows and knees is to take a very small amount of Vaseline and rub it in on these areas before applying the Jergens. That way, you aren't saturating these areas with the self-tanner but you don't have to totally avoid the areas. This has allowed me to have just the right amount of color on these areas. Also, the smell is so much lighter than most self-tanners. And for those who can't stand the smell, the best thing to do is to apply it right before bed because it takes about an hour for the smell to develop and it is gone by the morning. I love it.
