I do not recommend this at all. When I first applied the lotion, I thought it had a pleasant smell to it; after about an hour, I noticed this terrible smell on my skin that lasted throughout the day. By the next morning, I noticed I had an orange tint (not bad but a hue); I didn't like the color or the smell.

I normally hate self tanners, but this lotion is amazing. Since it gradually adds color, you don't have to worry about turning orange right off the bat. I usually use it for 3-4 days straight and then ease off and use it every other day or every two days to maintain the color. Great stuff!

I love this stuff. I love how it's a body lotion with a touch shimmer. I love the smell and I love how it leaves my skin like velvet. Amazing. I recently went on vacation in FL. I have very fair skin that hardly even gets tan (no matter how long I sit on the beach). My friend who I went with brought along her bottle of Jergens. She said I could try it out if I wanted. Why not? Right? Well, I used it the whole 10 days I was in FL. When I got home from my trip everyone couldn't believe how tan I was!! I don't know if it was the combination of going to the beach and using this stuff...not sure. All I know is out of all the years I've been going to FL for my vacation, this is the only year that I returned and actually received compliments on my tan...and I didn't tell a soul that I cheated and used this during my trip (he he hee), so in my book this stuff is GOLD! I'm definitely stocking up on this.

I love that this is lotion + tanner, but I did put it on right after shaving my legs and boy, was that a mistake. My legs were burning, and all of my pores were red for a few hours.

I'm on my second tube of this. I use it every other day after my shower and my skin has a pretty, slightly tanned appearance to it. It's much easier to use than self tanner, and the results are better in my opinion because you don't have the flakes and streaks you get with self tanner if you have dry skin like I do. My only complaint is the scent -- I wish it was unscented! But it's not a bad scent compared to other similar products.

Surprisingly this is the GREATEST product considering it's from Jergens! I have always hated self-tanners due to the high maintenance of having to exfoliate etc. - but with this product all that drama is gone! No need to exfoliate or anything...just apply everyday as you would your daily body lotion. No streaking, no mess, just a gorgeous non-orangey natural tan and leaves your skin smooth and moisturized!

I've been using this lotion for about 3 days and I can already see a big difference in my skin tone. My skin glows when I use this lotion. In my area, Wal-Mart was sold out of this lotion for fair skin so I bought the lotion for medium skin and it is working wonderfully. I LOVE this lotion and will continue to use it!!!

Great product! I love tanning but worry about the long-term effects. In the past I tried tanning products but ended up orange and/or streaked-not to mention the odor! I thought I would give Jergens a try since I love their moisturizers. Wow! I get compliments on my tan and when I tell friends it is from a self-tanner they can't believe it. I only use it every 4-5 days. The down side is there is a slight odor and it does rub off on clothing so I only use it at night and let it soak in before putting on my pajamas.

I have been using this every day now for about 5 days since I got a Mystic Tan, and my tan today is darker than it was when I first got "sprayed." I think it has done a great job at making my mystic tan last, but I haven't used it yet on completely bare skin. I read in a magazine that this Jergens lotion is great for extending the life of a self tan -- and it is. Smell is great when you first put it on, but when it starts to react with your skin it smells just like a diluted self tanner. No streaks, but slightly darkened elbows and knees. I have already recommended it to my friends!
