I LOVED the color it left, but HATED the smell! Smells SWEET but TERRIBLE body odor! ***BUT, EVERY SINGLE TANNING LOTION/SPRAY I HAVE EVER USED leaves that nasty smell on me.**** My boyfriend never commented on the smell, so I don't know if I smelled awful or like cookies to him!

Gave great color, but you definitely had to wash your hands after each use. Regardless of any good points this lotion had, it was all negated by the horrible, horrible odor...it took me days to realize I was not suffering from terrible B.O., it was this lotion!

I love this lotion!!! I saw a difference in the color of my skin after only one use. It dries quickly and smells good. A bit sugary and sweet smelling. This lotion is not sticky or too thick, so you can apply it in the morning and wear your clothes without worrying that it may rub off onto the fabric. The only problem is that you really need to wash your hands after putting this on or your finger nails and palm may turn a bit yellow/orange-ish. But if you wear nail polish it's not problem. I absolutely love Jergens Natural Glow lotion!

I don't understand the comments about the smell, perhaps it is like perfume and works differently depending on your body chemistry. I loved this stuff, it smelled like sugar cookies to me (my husband even commented on how great I smelled) and the tanning is so subtle that it didn't look unnatural on my very fair skin. I like it a lot, and I'll continue to use it. -sidenote, the one for faces didn't seem to work as well, perhaps my soap was washing it off, I'm not sure...

When I first applied the lotion, it actually smelled pretty good. After the day went on, the smell got so awful, I literally had to shower to get through the rest of the day. I immediately threw the lotion in the trash and would not recommend this product. I was so disgusted with the smell, I did not even care what the color looked like.

I like Jergens natural glow. I don't know what people are talking about as far as the smell. I use the medium to dark, and it works very well for me. It gives me a golden tan and doesn't turn orange. I think people have different types of skin, and that's why they turn orange. You do have to be careful around your elbow's and feet. Every day I have people commenting on my tan. I tell them what I use, and they say it looks so real. I stay out of the sun now. I made a big mistake when I was younger-- I was in the sun too much.

Great product for the price. I used it to prepare for a wedding - my sister went to a tanning salon - I had better color than she did. I used it in the morning after showering and did not have any rub-off on my clothes. Worked great for me.

I love this stuff. It doesn't smell awesome, true, but no self-tanner does. It's just a byproduct of the necessary chemical reaction... I can live with it for its fantastic results. It makes my skin very soft, with a nice "glow, just like it claims. To combat any uneven areas, I like to apply a regular lotion on my knees and elbows first, and usually include my feet as well. After that absorbs, the Natural Glow develops more evenly because it isn't taken up more on drier spots. Give it a try! I like to use this a couple times a week all summer long. You can't beat the price, either.
