I just starting using this Jergens Medium Skin Tones last week. I had bought it last summer but was afraid to try, as I see people at the gym with self tanners on who look orange.....but I wanted a little color on my stomach. It was beautiful, and now I use it all over except my face which I just use Bare minerals warmth on to blend everything together..The smell is awful, and I would prefer it had Jergens other scent (except original cherry, which I have always disliked). I will use it all the time. I put on before bed, and shower in the morning. There is no smell by morning.

The smell of this stuff is horrific. My boyfriend said I smelled like a alkaline battery! I used it anyway for 3 days to see if the color would turn out and it still looks too orange and fake on my pale skin. Not worth it.

I love this product; I have been using it since last year. It is a great lotion and self tanner and it is easy to use. You can apply this without the surprise that usually comes with self-tanners. You know the one -- you apply it a night and go to bed, only to wake up in the morning surprised or horrified with the results. Since it is such a graduation tint there are no surprises. As far as the smell, anyone who uses self tanners knows the smell comes with the territory. This lotion's smell is not nearly as bad as others out there. Give it a shot, you will like it.

I love this! I was skeptical at first because most self tanners will turn you orange. I use this product after the shower to regain what the water might have rubbed off. I was scared because I didn't notice anything until about day 3. The only part I dislike is the smell. I liked it at first but then it became the self tanner smell. All in all a great product....no orange skin.....just a nice sun kissed glow.

I've only used this product once, so I'm not sure if it works as a tanner, but I do have a problem with the fact that it leaves sparkles on your skin. I don't want my clothes to get all sparkly . I don't think the smell is bad, as some people have said. You just have to get used to it.

I used this all last summer with good results, but the smell is awful. Stink-o-rama. I've been using Dove's new moisturizer with self-tanner and love love love it. I think the color is much more natural (I use the medium) and no stinky self-tanner smell at all. Dove got it right.

I was amazed at how quickly it gives a nice natural looking tan (although I admit I've only used it on my arms). I noticed quite a difference even after the first time and I've used it 4 times now. If you apply plenty and really rub it in all directions, I didn't notice any streaking. I don't normally use moisturizers as I don't like that greasy feel and this definitely is a moisturizer. I don't like the smell but, really, can you expect perfect results from a chemical that doesn't have any odor??

I love this lotion! It works great on my skin and I use it a few times a week to maintain a nice color. The only thing I don't like about it is the smell. I put it on before I go to bed so I don't have to smell it during the day.
