I'm 58 and have always had long lashes that I used to curl, before applying mascara, with a traditional crimp-style lash curler. My lashes have thinned somewhat with age, but until about a year ago they were still as long as ever. That was when I noticed an area of short, stubby lashes on one eye. I became alarmed and stopped curling my lashes altogether. My lashes grew back and I decided to try a heated wand-style curler I had seen in a local store. It worked OK, and helped my lashes look fuller and longer. After reading reviews for the Panasonic, I decided to give it a try. It worked many times better than the first one! For one thing, it uses a AA battery - the other brands use a AAA one - and therefore gets hotter. But the best thing is the way it separates lashes and prevents them from crossing each other. I've also been able to get a pretty good curl after some practice. I use it after applying waterproof mascara and separating my lashes with a metal eyelash comb before the mascara dries. I use the curler as soon as the mascara is dry. I love this product!

OH oh, this is one of those cases where I read the review, got all enthused and ordered. What a waste of money! This product is a joke. I followed directions exactly and got absolutely no lasting curl to my lashes. Yes, right when I applied the heated curler, the lashes curled up...and by the time I curled the other eye, they were straight again. I applied the heated At this point I read the directions again and decided to try WITH mascara on. Same result. I used a manual nonheated Shuemura curler up to now and it curls the lashes and they stay curled all day. This is a terrible waste of cash! Shane on you, Panasonic!

Doesn't crimp lashes like an old fashioned curler. Gives a natural looking curve to lashes. I got this for my daughter whose lashes are straight and have a downward angle. Opens up the eyes beautifully.

I LOVE this Panasonic Heated Eyelash Curler. It makes my lashes last all day long. I put on my mascara on and right after I use the curler and it makes my mascara smooth and last longer it seems. My lashes looks so natural and smooth. I have short straight lashes. I used to use the tweezeman lash curler and the comb. Made my lashes look funny and it took a longer time. But now I have beautiful curly lashes, Also it so much faster now, it curls and comb at the same time. Even my boyfriend noticed it. Which he never notice anything until I'm showing too much skin. Also this item is so cheap. I told my sister and gf's about it they all loved it.

Fabulous! This is the best heated lash curler I have ever used. The great thing about this curler is the use of the AA battery, which provides more heat than the typical AAA battery other curlers use. This translates to an easier and better holding curl. The secret to using this curler, and may be the reason for any negative reviews, is that it is used AFTER applying mascara, not before, as stated in the instructions. Some people curl their lashes with a clamp curler, then apply mascara, then use this curler. But I find that I can skip using a clamp curler completely and get an amazing huge curl, with no crimps or kinks, with just the mascara then this curler. The other great thing about this is that it is very well constructed, with a removable guard for easy cleaning with the included brush and also a cap.

It didn't work for me. It may work for someone who has very easy to curl eyelashes and a lot patience.

It doesn't get any better than this. Heats quickly, and my lashes stay curled ALL day. Watch out--it gets hot, but it curls your lashes super quickly. You will totally love the Panasonic eyelash curler.

Not very easy to curl. Broke after less than 1 month of use. Don't recommend.
