I alternate John Frieda shampoo and conditioner with the Argon oil. My hair is naturally red with gray threading thru so I do have it colored, but the color fades; therefore, I use the John Frieda Radiant Red. I wish it did a little more to keep the color.

I bought this shampoo/conditioner because I just dyed my hair red and I know how quickly red fades. Seemed to work well but it caused my eyes to itch and swell. It took a few days for me to realize it was the shampoo/conditioner and another few days after stopping use for my eyes to finally get better. Not sure what is in the shampoo/conditioner that caused this but I will not be using again and and I am now stuck with some very expensive shampoo & conditioner that I cannot use. :(

I needed a product that would perform with my thick color treated hair. I had a professional color weave (blonde highlights with auburn on the rest of my hair). The color is amazing. I use a big tooth comb to get all the conditioner through my shoulder length hair. I take it slow with the comb and leave the conditioner on for a while. The shampoo is great too!! This product makes my hair shine and does not change the blonde hightlights, but does enhance the auburn color. Love It!! Will buy more!!

I have superfine light auburn wavy/curly hair. The residue in the conditioner takes the body out of the hair and leaves it stringy looking after just one use. A fundamental flaw since most redheads have very fine hair wich does not look its best with heavy silicones.

It seems that the makers of John Frieda are the only ones who realize that there are still REDHEADS out there. This is the only commercially available conditioner that I have found specifically formulated for red hair.
I wash my hair almost daily, and I am sure that my color would fade way faster without this shampoo and conditioner. Thank you John Frieda for making this, and Drugstore.com for carrying it!

This shampoo is great! I love it! I use it 2-3 times a week. It leaves my hair shiny, soft and smooth. It's pricier than other shampoos especially made to maintain your hair color but this one is so worth it. The other ones weighed my hair done. This one brings it to life!

I use this conditioner every day. I have not found anything close to how well this works! With other conditioners I have to keep going back for more product to cover all of my longish wavy hair, but with this one I use much less. And, it leaves my hair more manageable and softer than any other product I have used.
