This is a fantastic body lotion. Firstly, it's free of chemicals and parabens, which I think is really important since body lotion is a product that you're putting on daily and it's getting absorbed into your body. The smell is wonderful, a true vibrant and fresh lemon. If you love the smell of lemon, you'll really enjoy this scent. The lotion is creamy and rich, and absorbs quickly without being greasy at all. It moisturizes really well and lasts a long time. I've also tried the lavender scent and find it wonderful as well!

I was really surprised at how much I like this lotion. Most lotions seem great for a while after I put them on, but a few hours later I'm dry again. I live in New Mexico, so I deal with very low humidity. This product keeps my skin looking like I just applied lotion all day. I keep a bottle of this next to my kitchen sink as well, the scent seems to get rid of or cover onion/garlic/pepper smells on your hands. It's also great after washing hands frequently or doing dishes. And, since I'm smack dab in the middle of morning sickness (all-day sickness if you ask me), the scent, while strong, is inoffensive and doesn't nauseate me like most scents do right now. In addition, I had purchased Earth Mama Body Butter to keep my stretching skin supple, but I noticed that the Avalon works much better and smells much better, too. I'll continue using this throughout my pregnancy and afterwards. The body wash is also great!

This is my new favorite hand and body lotion. The formula is superb and the lemon scent is very real. I also have a bottle at work which is unscented. The formula is non-greasy, which is perfect to use during the day. Excellent quality, and no parabens!

I absolutely LOVE the texture of this lotion! I am long fan of Burt's Bees products but I could not find a body lotion that would absorb and moisturize 'just right'. This lotion was not too thick (nor too watery) and it left my skin so smooth! I really didn't expect that. I'm happy to find an organic product that delivers. I would have given it 5 stars, BUT I had to take one away due to the overwhelming lemon scent. No worries because the scent does fade after a half hour or so, but the first whiff is similar to dish detergent. I hope this comes unscented. I will definitely buy more in my next order in any case.

This lotion smells great. It can be a bit slippery if I use a whole pump, so I only use half, or rub the excess on my elbows.

This lotion absorbs well, leaves skin feeling smooth, is not greasy, and has a nice lemon scent. It fades gradually, so it is not overpowering either. This makes it a nice lotion for the kitchen too, where you would not want anything too flowery. I hope this product continues to be available here -- we can't find it anywhere else in our area (90 mile radius)!

If you don't LOVE lemon, this isn't for you. I love lemon, and I use this with the Avalon lemon exfoliating bar soap. The scent is strong at first, but I find it fades somewhat over time, so if you don't want it to conflict with your perfume, I don't think it will. It is a fresh lemon scent.
