This lotion is the best "natural" lotion I've ever purchased. I recently converted all my body and cleaning products to healthier more natural options and this lotion is one of my favorites! The smell is incredible-like real fresh lemons, not lemon floor cleaner. It also has a very low rating from skin deep and is a company that has signed the compact for safe cosmetics. My husband and I both love it, and when you put it on, people always ask what smells so good. Scent doesn't linger long, but that's probably a pro for most people. I have the lemon soap as well and wish Drugstore.com would carry it. I also use the lavender and olvie oil versions of this lotion-all are top notch!

This lotion is very soothing. I use it after my shower, after washing my hands and at night before bed. The fragrance is wonderful. I keep bottles of it in my bathrooms and at the kitchen sink so I can use it frequently. it makes winter dryness less annoying.

I first chose this lotion as I'm trying to find some organic products that are reasonably priced, good quality, and better for me. I like citrus scents (moreso orange and grapefruit I guess), so I tried this lotion. As I applied it, I found the texture to be great! This lotion is high quality, goes on so smooth, not greasy at all. However, I felt like the scent was equivalent to Pledge lemon-scented dusting spray. And it's quite a strong scent initially. Because of that, I will not be purchasing this particular lotion again although I would definitely try other Avalon lotions. I would have rated this a 5 if not for the strong lemon scent. I should note that the strength of the scent does diminish in a reasonable period of time. If you love lemon scent, this is the everyday body lotion for you!

New to using organic and natural moisturizers, I purchased a bottle of Avalon Organics Hand & Body Lotion (Lemon) and a bottle of Natures Gate Organics Rainwater Lotion (Citrus Ginger). This Avalon Organics lotion is by far superior to the Natures Gate. This lotion is thick and creamy, moisturizes very well, and leaves behind a pleasant lemon scent. The scent smells heavy at first but quickly dissipates into a very light, clean fragrance. The Natures Gate is very runny, the fragrance smells like a chemical insecticide, and it leaves an oily residue on the skin. I will definitely be purchasing the Avalon Organics brand from now on. Definitely a keeper.

This is a fantastic body lotion. Firstly, it's free of chemicals and parabens, which I think is really important since body lotion is a product that you're putting on daily and it's getting absorbed into your body. The smell is wonderful, a true vibrant and fresh lemon. If you love the smell of lemon, you'll really enjoy this scent. The lotion is creamy and rich, and absorbs quickly without being greasy at all. It moisturizes really well and lasts a long time. I've also tried the lavender scent and find it wonderful as well!
