I take one pill in the morning with breakfast. I can't really taste it when I pop it in my mouth nor after I've already swallowed and it begins to break down. Overall a good product!

by drddoll[Verified Buyer] in Columbus, Ohio on 5/12/09
Pros: Effective, Good Taste, Simple To Take
Cons: Big size, Hard To Swallow
Describe Yourself: Health Conscious, Surgery patient
Best Uses: Daily Use, Post surgery, Women
Bottom Line: recommended
I was told I needed a prenatal vitamin after losing a part of my stomach, and now I can only take in so much food at a time. Therefore, a regular vitamin doesn't provide enough of the vitamins that I need. So instead of paying for pricey behind the counter vitamins, I searched the internet and my pharmacist and this brand was highly recommended. The price is good [...]Definitely recommend this product.

Pros: Easy To Swallow, Effective, Good Taste, Simple To Take
Cons: Needs more calcium
Describe Yourself: Health Conscious
Best Uses: Daily Use, Nursing
Bottom Line: recommended
It's a good prenatal vitamin for the price. I am a nursing mother so I've continued to take the vitamin for that purpose. I found it's a little low in calcium (only 19% of recommended daily value) but I think that Viactiv Chocolate Chews are yummy, so I don't mind supplementing the vitamin with one of those every day. The pills are pretty average in size and although they are not coated, I have no problem taking them (I have no problems taking most pills). I will most likely buy again, because what they don't provide, I am getting from food anyways.
Nature Made Multi Prenatal Complete Vitamin/Mineral Supplement rates 5 out of 5 stars, from 12 customer reviews. These vitamins are MILK & SOY FREE
by [@][Verified Buyer] in Lexington, SC on 2/11/09
Pros: Easy To Swallow, Effective, Simple To Take
Cons: Poor Taste
Describe Yourself: Breastfeeding Mother, First Time User
Best Uses: Daily Use, Women
Bottom Line: recommended
My son has MSPI. (Milk & Soy Protein Intolerance) These are some of the few prenatal/lactating vitiamins that I was able to find that contain no trace of soy. Most have soy lechithin, an emulsifier, that doesn't necessarily contain the soy protein that MSPI babies have a problem with IF the manufacturing process is done very carefully. After having symptoms that included blood in his diaper, I decided not to take a chance and have eliminated all traces of milk or soy from my diet. These are great but do have a bit of that "vitamin-y" taste that I wouldn't have liked while pregnant but doesn't bother me now.

by Organic Fugue[Verified Buyer] in New York on 12/14/08
Pros: Easy To Swallow, Effective, Good Taste, Simple To Take
Describe Yourself: Health Conscious
Best Uses: Daily Use, Women
Bottom Line: recommended
Other pre-natal vitamins I've tried cause "iron-burps" and these are the only ones that haven't. They are a good size - not too big, and barely any taste.

Pros: Easy To Swallow, Simple To Take
Describe Yourself: First Time User
Best Uses: Daily Use, Women
Bottom Line: recommended
Bought these because I'm anemic and my doctor recommended prenatal vitamins (they have a good mix of things you need). They have been easy on my often-irritated stomach and I've been feeling less tired, so they must be working!

Nature Made Multi Prenatal Complete Vitamin/Mineral Supplement rates 3 out of 5 stars, from 12 customer reviews. Not enough
by Mom to be[Verified Reviewer] in Sunnyvale on 7/21/08
Bottom Line: not recommended
This prenatal vitamins did not make me sick. I already finish the whole bottle and didn't cause nausea. However, it doesn't contain enough vitamins for pregnancy. Google what pregnant women need to have daily, you will find some other vitamins and mineral that you need to take besides those on the label. Compare with other brands before you make decision. Surely there is nothing bad about it. Just need to eat more food that has vitamin sources which sometimes it's not practical.
