Disappointing

Pros: Moisturizes Well

Cons: Doesn't Absorb Well, Too Greasy or Heavy

Bottom Line: not recommended

I really wanted to like this: I love body butters, and so far, I've liked Malie Kauai products I've tried. In theory, it seems like a good time-saving idea to moisturize in the shower. But in my experience, it just doesn't work, it feels sticky & kind of gross and you end up toweling off some of it (there's also the yellow residue issue mentioned by another reviewer). Also, the smell is not authentic at all, it's just a general cheap-smelling sweetness, I don't detect any mango at all.

I have really tried to like this. I am a true fan of Malie products. Their body wash and creams are amazing. But, this concoction is a bit of a disappointment. For one, the smell is odd (My husband describes it as rotten fruit and he actually gags when I use it), it leaves a slimy residue, and it melts rather quiclky (I suppose that could be a plus in my husbands book). Do yourself a favor, get the body cream and take the extra second it takes to apply that instead!

This is a so-so product. It did leave my skin more moisturized, with results that lasted fairly well. Yet I get the same results with avocado oil. This goes on the skin after shower, before drying off. Massage it in well, then towel off. Note: any excess will come off on your towel as a light yellow color...I have white towels and use bleach every wash, so haven't noticed any lasting reside, though. Is it a treat for the skin? Kind of. Mostly a big "meh" from me.

This is by far, my favorite product ever! I love to put it all over my body, but I especially love to put it on my legs after a fresh shave. It makes them feel so smooth and silky without even using any lotion. (Although I can't resist the Coconut Vanilla body lotion either!) It makes my skin look good, too. I would definitely recommend it!
