I am a disabled person with a bad back and a bad left hip. I have trouble with bathrooms that have the low toilets. I use it at home and take it with me everywhere I go. It is a life saver. It also has flaws. It needs a handle and a travel bag to make it discretely portable. It is slightly too high in elevation. Mine did develop a crack in it Overall it has been a lifesaver. I would recommend this to a friend but I would also let them know the problems I have had with it.

This is a good product for anyone who has trouble rising from a seated position. Yes, you can slide it an inch or so in any direction once it is placed on the toilet, but that's what makes it a "one size fits all" and I have not experienced any "wobble". I am an average height, very overweight female and find it an excellent choice in a bath where the toilet cannot be replaced. When I travel overnight, I carry this with me and am never "stuck" with low hotel toilets. My mother, who is 84 and must use a walker, purchased one that she carries with her when she knows there will be no handicapped toilet available. I made vinyl bags, in the shape of the original box, and no one is the wiser. Include a pack of wipes to clean it after use and it's ready to go. I think this is an excellent, temporary alternative.
