in shower

I bought this at the suggestion of the home-care nurse for my elderly mother who showers. Unfortunately, she is quite frail and getting up from the bench is not an easy task without a grab bar. I think she is better off just standing in the shower without the extra burden of rising from a sitting position.

I bought this in order to enjoy a nice long shower. Usually I rush as I tolerate my arthritic knees. This allows me the luxury of lingering under the water. I am also finding that I can use it in other parts of the house as a place to sit and do other activities without stressing my knees. I am a plus size gal so I can attest to it's ability to hold heavy objects.
