Great along with a conditioner for washing makeup, et al brushes. As my hairdresser explained though, not good for chemically treated hair. The ph may match skin, but with chemically treated hair and hair in general, the ph of the cleanser needs to be different. What passes off, to this observer, as "good condition" for hair and skin, that I see, really looks too dry. Without the experience of better, though, how would a consumer know! I'm sorry J&J stopped producing the equally mild and plain version with a built in conditioner (vs. all of the other fancy ones they made instead).

Love the fragrance. Love the gentle "no tears" formula. My two complaints are 1) that it is not easy to lather. I seem to have to use a lot, on very wet hair, to work up a good lather on my kids and our dog. and 2) it makes the hair squeak after use and conditioners are needed to get a comb through. But that delicious baby shampoo smell is worth it, and not worrying overmuch about soap getting in anyone's eyes is nice too.

I swim three times a week, and wanted to switch to something I could use head to toe in the shower without having to carry around three or four bottles in my gym bag. This did the trick - I use it as a shampoo, cleanser and body wash, and didn't even need conditioner. Chlorine and dry winter air were wrecking my skin, but this helped clear it up completely in just a couple of weeks, too. Plus the smell is great. Highly recommended!

I bathe my two indoor cats because my husband is allergic to cat dander. As you know, cats hate baths and are rather squirmy throughout the process. I was always worried about the shampoo getting in their eyes and burning or the chemicals irritating their skin. My mother recommended Johnson's Baby Shampoo and I tried it and loved it! It's so gentle and my cat's fur is soft and smells good too.

I am an adult with scant oily hair; moreover I was suffering form severe hair loss. The lady from my hair salon recommended this, and I am loving it. As I need to wash my hair every other day this is the best, as it is gentle and my hair loss stopped too! Will use this for the rest of my life. Hope they do not stop making it!!

Perfect for babies and young children. It leaves their hair feeling silky and smooth, and it smells good too! It also works for adults. I use it to make my hair feel extra smooth. It is well worth the money, and the only shampoo I have used for my son!

This is a great shampoo for kids! Smells clean and fresh, lathers nice and foamy. Very clean rinsing! We use it on our baby and our 8-year-old. Would highly recommend it! I'd suggest they improve the product by changing it to a pump dispenser because sometimes too much comes out at once when your pour it into your hand.

The original, the best children's shampoo there is. I have four kids and I must have tried all the kids' shampoos that are out there. Nothing compares to Johnson & Johnson for softness, manageability, and nice, light fragrance. My daughter has curly hair and it leaves her hair soft and manageable. No tugging to comb through.

We have a 2-year-old and a 3-month-old and used the product on both of them. It left their hair clean and fresh smelling. It also left the 2-year-old's hair easy to comb through and we didn't have to use a detangler. I'd definitely buy this product again. I love the fact that I don't have to worry about getting soap in their eyes. That is definitely another plus.
