Tip: Wet hair is up to 20% weaker than dry hair; especially after it has been soaked for some time and absorbed the maximum amount of water possible. This means that wet hair must be handled much more carefully. Be careful when tying hair and try not to take it in and out of a knot. Wash hair gently and slather on conditioner-don't rinse out. The extra TLC will help restore softness and shine. For added protection and conditioning, apply under a bathing cap before swimming or sunbathing.

I bought this for me, not my children lol. When I am at the beach or pool, I wet my hair and then coat it with this conditioner. It smells wonderfully fresh and it protects my hair from the sun, salt and chlorine. Great product!

I have always been pleased with Cali Baby Products until this one... It just does'nt work. IT leaves my daughters long hair stiff. It does not detanlge or condition at all

This is such a great product. My 3 and 5 year old girls swim twice a week and this makes their hair so soft. I am surprised people don't like the smell, we love it. We've been to Hawaii several times and this always reminds me of being there. We've used this after the beach and it always works great. I highly recommend it!

Unlike the label, it does not smell like gardenias. It has an interesting botanical smell that is both sweet and bitter at the same time, almost like a medicinal herb. It is hard to describe but I did not like the smell and don't think I can use this as a leave-in conditioner. Otherwise, it is a thick formula and probably the bottle will last long. I most likely will not buy another bottle unless the distinctive smell grows on me, but at least it is a quality product (no strange chemicals). I am a fan of California Baby products and like their philosophy; I will try a different conditioner next time.

I bought this and the shampoo and hate the smell of both. It smells exactly like citronella candles. It also doesn't do anything great for my daughter's hair. The biggest Pro is the fact that it is very safe to use on children.
