I have a very large male German Shepherd and he eats these in about a minute. So although he really likes them, they are not a chew that he has to spend time chewing. I like to give him something that will occupy him for a little while. These are too expensive for me to buy if he eats them right away. I would still recommend them but I would tell the person that they do not last long. Maybe better for a small dog? **I do feed my GS Merrick dog food which I think is great stuff. He devours his food when I mix a can in with his dry food (both Merrick products)

It's a flat chew and My Pups went thru them quickly.

I ordered this as a special treat once, and our (finicky) greyhound loved it so much that now I usually just throw one of these into each [@] order. No idea how nutritious it is (we're generally very conscientious about only feeding her healthy, organic meals and snacks) but she loves this jerky so much that I figured that giving her this once in a while can't really hurt too much. If you have a dog that's a bit on the finicky side when it comes to treats, and you're looking for something that will make your dog really really happy, I'd recommend this.

My doggie is a heavy chewer who LOVED this chew, but it only lasted him about 7 minutes max.

My two lab chow sisters love these and will do anything to get them. At 4 years old they are rather jaded about treats but they love these and they are enabling old dogs to do new tricks - LOL

my dog loves these things so much, [...]. I cut each stick into about 6 pieces to use as special treats... works well for my italian greyhound.

My puppy choked on this and I had to unfold it and get it out of her thoat!! Although she seemed to enjoy it up to that point, I would not recommend.

Not a good value for the size of the treat. I have purchased numerous jerky type treats and this one has the least amount of value.
