New Smell - UGH!

I was usung this shampoo to deal with my itchy scalp for which it did a really good job. Recently when I reordered I noticed the dreaded (to me) words - "New Fragrance". Ugh. I didn't mind the "medicinal smell" but can't stand the new perfume they have created.

This is the only product that can control my dandruff, and the itch that comes with it. It says to only use a couple times a week, but I use it every day and find no problem with it. I have short hair and get it trimmed every 3 weeks or so though, so if you have longer hair that doesn't get cut off as often, it might be too harsh to use everyday.

I have had an itchy scalp during my pregnancy and decided to try this. It does help for a few hours, but after that I feel itchy again. It may be some mysterious pregnancy thing, but it just didn't seem worth the cost to me. It was also very hard on my hair; it really dried it out and caused breakage.

Great product for the scalp, but WARNING!!! Its harsh on your hair. Put conditioner in the ends of your hair (if you have long hair) and then use it just on your scalp to lessen the damage!!! I put olive oil on my ends before I use this.

After using this for two or three days, all of the dandruff problems have disappeared. The smell is intense, but it washes out, and won't be noticeable if you use a different conditioner. This definitely helps remove the build-up of skin on the scalp.

This shampoo is great if you're one of those people who has build-up on your hair. It doesn't dry your scalp like other build-up removing shampoos (obviously). It leaves your hair perfectly clean and shiny if you can stand the smell - which is a better smell than most coal tar shampoos.

I think this product works great! I definitely had itch problems before and now it's pretty much gone. It has a nice menthol sensation too. I would definitely recommend to others!
